It seems you have encountered an enemy. Since you've come to this chapter, I'll assume you either had no choice but to fight it, or you're just really stupid. Either way, I guess I should show you how to prolong the time until your death(if you're lucky, you might even win).
To attack, roll two dice. if the number you get is equal to or less than your skill, you hit. If it's greater than your skill, then the enemy gets to attack. If this happens, subtract it's attack from your hp. If you manage to hit the enemy enough times to reach it's HTK(hits to kill), the monster is dead and you win. I doubt that'll happen though. Have fun!
