((A/N: soo sorry i havent updated in a long time but i needed to clear my head from a bunch of things and yea... im alive XD ))
Me and Negra tried our best to keep in pace with the Queen's but she has a destination. I'm not entirely sure where we're headed but having the Queen ask about Fabron last seems likely where we're going. I have a feeling she's gonna show us right to him.
Well, technically me.
Negra quietly mentions my red face and I swear I just saw a glimpse of a smile from Ceila. Heh heh, I'm screwed.
We walk for awhile, zigzaging all over the castle and I'm not even trying to keep up with the scoreboard anymore. Last I stopped counting it was 23 rights to 14 lefts.
Even Negra is starting to show signs of fatigue. I'm not the only one suffering.
Her feet stop altogether in front of a door that I didn't even know was there until me and Negra almost tripped over our own feet. The cat-man next to me, opened his mouth about to pop a question but Ceila disappeared behind the door and shuts it behind her.
"My! This is getting awkward quickly!" I say in my best Bette Davis impression. "I might as well settle down for the moment whistle she's doing who knows what." Looking down the corridor opposite of Negra after sitting down next to the door.
"Or who." I smirk having said that for kicks and I could literally feel Negra's shocked expression radiating from behind. My smirk grows. And out comes Ceila again but she keeps walking before the door even begins to close.
"Aaaaand we're moving!" I slap my knees with my hands in attempt to stand but Negra holds out his. His gestures sure genuine and gentleman. Gentle-cat. Man.......
Long story short: we walked some more and even more all around the castle until we reached some stairs. That's where we took a turn and quiet literally just I hadn't excepted into the wall.
.....
A little into the stairs we took until we were unseen by the floor we just exited but still not quite visible to the next. A guard stood on one of the steps to the side. And just before we reached him, Celia paused and nodded at the guard who casually looked up the steps and nodded back. She flashed a smile and pushed against the wall for it to open and surprisingly, it did. She looked back at the guard and flashed a smile, mouthing the words 'thank you'.
She closed the trap door and guided us through the narrow, dirt corridor and not too long after, we reached our destination.
Reaching the end of the hall and we approached a clearing attached with other dirt hallways but what really caught my eye was who was amongst the clearing.
Fabron.
My heart skipped a beat.
Multiply beats.
And he wasn't alone. A woman stood next to him. They were expecting us. She looked to be a badass by the way she was dressed: Black leather all over (even her knee-high booties) and over her leather form she was covered in shining silver metal. She wore armor and her pixie-cut hair was a gray-silver color but it didn't symbolize her age cause she was far too young to be that old. And the last accessory was her eye-patch over her left eye with the kingdom's symbol: fairy wings.
I tackled Fabron before he could squeak a word. And we both tumble to the ground.
"Woah! Reed? You came looking for me didn't ya?" He smiled sitting up.
"'Course I did-" I blushed a bit before I could realized exactly what I did. And I shot up fast, still blushing and I helped the blonde sit up. Both of us a blushing mess on the dirt floor.
"So," I hear Negra start to say as he leans his body against the wall. "Shall we discuss the matter at hand?"
"Or how mad it has gotten?" The silver-haired woman says gesturing towards Ceila for a response. And the Queen sighs, "Indeed, the situation with the King has gotten worse. Out of control even." She folds her hands into each other and her gaze remains on the ground.
"The King, from what I know isn't that actual 'King", right?" I asked and Ceila shakes her head softly. "No, he isn't the one of blood to rule. At least not of my ancestor's blood."
Not believing her words, "So wait, this man isn't even supposed to be a king?!" And Negra corrected me. "No, not exactly but he is the heir to the throne of the Northern Kingdom. A kingdom of which is to us, only a fairy tale. No one knew anything of this kingdom, not even of its existence."
"You've got to be kidding me," saying under me breath.
"This kingdom," Negra continues, "died out centuries ago. That is the sole reason as to why everyone who was told this story believed it to be a fairy tale."
"Then..." Fabron stopped himself before he could speak anymore. With my eyes, I asked what it was. My only response was him looking away.
Ceila spoke, "All we know is that this man could be of that of the Northern Kingdom's royal line but... the details are not as clear as I'd like them to be but this is the only answer we have as to who he really could be."
"Then what about the dark creatures that were surrounding him back in the Throne Room? Do they have some importance in the king's plan?" The throne room wasn't a very fun place to experience especially when he showed his friends off and I will never be able to shrug that feeling of dark and despair away. Because of that man, that feeling will stay and as long as he is here, it will never go away.
((So sorry for not updating. I was literally overwhelmed back in November 2016 and January was the end of it. Now I'm fine. All is well with me and my best friend. She was the sole reason as to why I've made it out alive and well XD. Thank you so much XD. I love ya!!!))
