The second I heard a gun shot go off I ducked. I saw one bullet hit Halo, then another and I heard another shot but she was already on the ground so it missed. She screamed so loud and I instantly began to wish it was me. I rushed over to her first examining where she had been hit. She had a bullet hole on her arm and another on her thigh. She was panicking. I picked her up and placed her In the car. She was beginning to bleed so I took off my shirt ripped it in two pieces and stuffed it in each whole. Then I zoomed to the nearest hospital I could think of talking to Halo to keep her conscious the whole time. When we got there I sped around to the emergency entrance, got out the car and opened the back door where Halo was laying. I picked her up as gently as I could.

"Ouchhh." She groaned half consciously

"Shhh I got you Halo" I assured her , gently squeezing her hand. When we got I the door the three nurses behind the front desk rushed over to me.

"Were gonna need a stretcher!" yelled one of the nurses. A few seconds later two males came and put Halo on a stretcher they started to wheel her down the isle.

"Sir what's the name of the patient and your relation to her?" one of the nurses questioned

"Her names Halo, I'm her boyfriend." I lied because I knew if i said that I was just her friend they would have made me leave.

Alright sir it's looking like she has two possibly critical bullet wounds and is struggling with a tremendous amount of blood loss. We will have to remove the bullets each by doing a surgery procedure but we must evaluate the wounds first. She may be in here for a while but we will call you when we have completed the operation are there any questions on your behalf?"

"Will she live and when she wakes up, can I see her?" I asked

" I cannot promise you anything and I'll see what I can do." she said and walked away taking Halo just like that. I don't know this girl much but I do know this is my second time involved in something dangerous with this girl. I feel like it's my job to protect her though. Thinking, thinking it's all I can do right now. And from the looks of it it's all I'll be able to do for a long time.....
