*New POV*

Sky

I'm at the secret hideout that my bestfriends Deja, Halo and I found in the sixth grade. Deja and I have been waiting for Halo for hours and she's not answering our phone calls or texts. My phone rings and I see an unknown number I was ready to decline it but something told me to answer it. I heard a guy with a deep voice say hello.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"Look I'm King this is gonna sound kinda crazy but yo bestfriend Halo got shot twice, I took her up here t-

"OMG WHO SHOT HER?? WHERE IS SHE, HOW IS SHE!?!" I demanded.

"We don't know who shot her it was from a distance, Were up at Mercy Hospital off 23rd street and so far her condition is unknown." King said.

"OK, Tell her were otw!" I said and hung up without giving him a chance to say anything else I hung up and started putting on my coat, ready to go see Halo.

*New POV*

Deja

As soon as Sky screamed on the phone I knew something really bad had happened. She started putting on her coat and talking really fast but I happened to catch the words halo and shot twice so I reluctantly followed along. I'm Deja by the way, the more calm one of the crew. I grabbed my car keys and held Sky as she cried in my arms. I wanted to cry too but I couldn't In my life I'm the strong one so I have to stay strong for those around me. We got in the car and I drove to the hospital the whole time trying to stay calm and strong for sky. We drove around to the ER and bust into the hospital. By that time Sky was a little more calm, we rushed to the front desk asking for Halo's room. The nurse was very nice but she said we couldn't see Halo just yet. She led us to the waiting room and the only people in there were us, a white women with two little twins babies and a handsome guy in the back who had a dried up blood stain on his shirt. We say down near him. I can't believe Halo got shot sky yelped beginning to cry all over again. I held her and the guy in the room sat next to me and asked

"Are you Halo's friends?" He asked

"Yes were Halo's bestfriends". I said back to him.

"I'm King, the guy who called you guys, I've been waiting forever. Now that I know someone is here in case she wakes up, I think I'm gonna go get some food he said and started to walk away. He turned around after a few steps "You know actually you guys never know how long you could be waiting, Im just running over to Wendy's do one of you guys want me to grab y'all a bite to eat?" He asked.

"Yes, thanks for the offer, could you get me a ceaser salad.(I glanced over at sky still crying but I knew what she wanted) and she'll just have a burger and some fries I said reaching in my purse to grab my money.

"It's good ma, Ill cover it" he said starting to walk away. I beamed inside, a gentleman type move made this guy king 2 times more handsome. I leaned back and started thinking about Halo, I sure hope she will be alright.
