Naomi's POV
Everything was the same as always everyone hanging out at each others house and going to school and and going out a lot.
My grudge against Maia started to go away. But every time I saw her and how big her stomach was getting I'd just lash out and yell I hate you then run away. I still couldn't stand the fact that she would do that.- At AJ's house -
We were all sitting eating popcorn and watching scary movies. Kyle had his arms wrapped around me and I snuggled my head into his chest.
"Oh crap!" Maia yelled out. "What what is it what's wrong!?" I asked. "I think its time ". "Come on we gotta get you to the car, the hospital is at least an hour away." Max said as he helped Maia stand up. "An hour"! "Forget the hospital were having an at home birth." Jaiden said "Oh hell no not in my house"! AJ said. "Shut up and call your Mom." Riyin said punching his shoulder. AJ's Mom got here within a few minutes. She dropped all her stuff at the door. "Where's the patient?" she asked "Hi Mrs. Foster." I said. "Hi." Maia groaned and screamed in pain as they walked upstairs to their parents room. "Okay im gonna need some warm towels, a blanket a lot of paitence oh and the father." Mrs. Foster asked. We gave her everything she needed and Max went with them. All we had to do was wait.- A few hours of waitng inpatiently -
Max's POV
The sight of all the blood was unbearable. I took a few hours until the baby came. I still couldn't believe I was a Dad. Then I heard the beautiful sound of high pitched crying. "It's a girl." Mrs. Foster said in excitment. I smiled widely at the sight of my beautiful babygirl. We cut the cord and wiped off the blood. I wrapped her in a soft pink blanket and handed her to Maia. She smiled so wide her adorable little dimples were showing. I watched as my little girl smiled lighty. Then I realized I wasn't ready. I not ready to be a Dad. "We can't keep her." I said. Maia's smile quickly faded at my words. "What do you mean we cant keep her shes your child of course we can." she said.
N,nnnnnnnn
"No Maia we can't were not ready to be parents." I said trying to stay calm. She handed the baby to Mrs. Foster and they left the room. "No Max your not ready to be a parent." her words stuck like glue. "You right I'm not ready, but you are take care of her for both of us". I reached out to grab her hand but she quickly pulled away."She's your child you can't leave her fatherless!" shouted. "Maia I'm sorry I know I should be there for her but I can't right now". She looked at me in disappointment. "I think it'd be better if you just leave." she said hanging her low. "Maia I..." I tried to explain "GO"! I grabbed my jacket and headed out. I practically cried on the way home. I know for a fact that she's never going to forgive me.
