" What happen Maan? Who was on call? " Niyonika rushes towards frozen Maan and shook him hard to break the ice.He stared at her. His gaze scared her.
" Niyooo " left incomplete as Just then they heard
" Mom Papa what are you guys doing at this hour? What's going on ? "
They turned and found a messy Nandini standing just few steps away from them wrapping a curious face up.
" What happened? Kya hua hai? Why are you guys are staring at me like this? " she asked fully confused.
Her heart was poking her about something bad finding her in -laws as well as parents, so perplexed.
" Guys you are scaring me now. Tell me what's happening? " a freaked Nandini asked straightforward.

While Niyonika also gaped at her husband for the expected explanation. " Mmaanik " just this word could manage to escape from Maan's trembling lips and he let his body weight, fell on the couch loosing the strength.

----- Flashback ( rewinding just two hours backward)------

" Hello Cabir... woh Manik. I don't know where did he left. He was too angry and walked out of the hotel. Please search him. He is very much disturbed. " Aliya informed Cabir about their fight and asked him to go behind him.

On the other side

Manik was too disturbed to fetch his surroundings. His mind Was stuck with Nandini and the weird reason behind his that restlessness. Though he wasn't sure about the particular name of that feelings but one thing he was dam sure was his craze for Nandini. His Nandini whowas his wife.And If it was called that four letters word Love. Then he was in love for sure. But again hid mind collided with " Mistake" word.
And voila!! He couldn't take it more. He mentally noted to return back to India tonight itself and charged her about the status of their relationship.Drawing so frustratingly he paced his speed on that crowded busy road.

And " BOOOMMM !!!!!! "

Before he could fetch any thing he heard a loud thud along with his weightless body and in the next second everything became black. Manik was lying unconscious on the corner of the road , drenching with the pool of fresh blood.Cabir was looking for Manik when suddenly his eyes fell on the crowd . Being curious he stepped towards the crowd and what he found, left his body motionless.The crowd and police was trying to take Manik to the hospital. Cabir somehow managed himself on that crucial moment and rushed towards the ambulance.He informed the police about their identity and soon that case became a high profile one pouring extra care. Manik was taken to the ICU. Cabir was too shaken seeing Manik's condition. He soon informed Fab5 about the accident along with Manik's parents. He had no strength to call Nandini. So he let it to Maan and Niyonika.

Niyonika broke into tears hearing the news while Nandini felt a strong stab at her heart. Her knee strength brutally left her side and she sat on the floor . She was still in shock. She just didn't wanted to believe her ears. Maan consoled his wife first. He himself was shattered with the most scary news of his life. Both of them were crying hugging each other while their eyes attracted towards the lifeless body collapsed on the floor devoid of any tears. Her dark face scared both of them. And within a second they engulfed her in their embrace

" Nandu...beta everything will be all right. " Maan tried to console her as well as himself. But yet she wasn't coming up from her shocked state.Niyonika was really a strong lady to tackle all the situations in every black and white moment. When the father and daughter were shading tears loosing their selves, she composed her turmoil state and booked a chopper for them to Macau and did all the necessities.

" Maan we don't have time. Come on let's start " she said and took Nandini from his embrace and said
" Baby it's not the time to break down but stay strong. We need to be strong enough for Manik. "
Saying she herself took her to her room and packed her cloths while Maan did for him and Niyonika.In the next one hour they were siting in the chopper. Tears were not in their control that day. The both elder Malhotra were crying silently whereas the daughter in law Malhotra was all numb , void of any emotions like a lifeless soul.
