I know this one is popular but I'm doing it anyways.
Also I'm starting from after the egg fell because (I hope) you all read the first book.

The silver dragon reached his talons to try to catch the ruby egg, his talons missed and the egg fell, and fell. The egg fell into a shallow ledge near the base of the cliff, there was one large crack on the top of the smooth, ruby red, egg. Several more star burst shaped cracks appeared on the egg, until the egg hatched and out came a small red-gold Skywing. The small dragonet sat there for what seemed like forever when a small turquoise Seawing flew up to the ledge and picked up the dragonet, "Don't worry young dragon. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm going to call you Citrine." She whispered quietly "I'm Splash by the way." She added and with that Splash carefully grabbed the dragonet and took off to the sky.
~<4 years later>~
Citrine's POV
Now let me tell you a bit about myself, I'm Citrine of the Skywings and I was raised by a Seawing named Splash, I have red gold scales and the webbed part of my wings are like a sunset, my eye color is a soft amber brown. Now that that's finished lets continue.
"Citrine!" Splash called "Its time to eat!" I swooped down and landed at the entrance of the cave we lived at -we meaning me and Splash- and stepped inside. Inside there was a fire that warmed and lit up the whole cave, Splash turned towards me, "There you are!" She ran over and threw her wings around me, "I-I thought you might've been hurt or worse!" I wrapped my large wings around the turquoise dragon "Don't you worry bout me." I told her. She let go and went over to the fire, "I cooked up some eagle, your favorite~" She sang "YES!!" I squealed with delight, plopping myself down behind the large bird. Drooling slightly I bent my neck slightly breathing in the meaty scent, "Dig in!" Splash declared, I cheered and stuffed my snout into the eagles feathers and bit down ripping away a chunk of meat, the sweet -and slightly salty- taste of the meat flooded my taste buds with pure bliss.

We finished eating and were full. I was in my part of the cave when I heard whispering the whispers said things like 'Why now?' and 'we have to take her' I let curiosity get the best of me and stepped out of my room and into the main part of the cave, there I see Splash with a Mudwing and an Icewing. "Whats going on here?" I asked, they all whirled towards me "Oh! Citrine your awake..." Splash said nervously "What is that!" The Icewing spat, the Mudwing just eyes me up and down which I did NOT like. "Oh...This is Citrine you know...the Skywing." Splash said the last part softly like I wasn't meant to hear it but I did, the Icewing snorted "You never do anything right Splash." Suddenly the Icewing pinned down the Seawing and snapped the small dragons neck, "Splash! NO!" I screeched, the Mudwing tried to pin me down but I blew fire at his underscales and the clawed them with my back talons, he screeched and backed off giving me just the window if time I needed for escape. I bolted towards the caves entrance and lept out spreading my large red-gold wings, it doesn't matter if there full grown, Skywings have the largest wings of any tribe so they can't catch me, once I was a safe distance away I decided to go to the Rainforest considering that Rainwings are apparently 'lazy' and 'useless' so the began the long trek to the Rainforest.

My talons thudded down on the muddy Rainforest floor, flinching ever so slightly I took a deep breath, This is where my new life begins.
