In the year 2016, the Third World War broke out. Only it was silent. No common man knew of the war, only politicians and leaders had knowledge. This time there was no allies, only enemies. Every country for himself. Places such as Russia, USA and China managed to secure themselves good defences. England was not so lucky. They were warned that at exactly 14:00GMT 3 days from now they would be bombed. This bombing would wipe out the entirety of England.

The government created emergency 284. The bunkers 5 miles underground which stretched the length of England had been built as a bunker for emergencies such as these.

the royal family would be first to descend into the bunkers. Next politicians. Then army generals and troops for protection. After that, citizens of England who were considered 'gifted' were to be chosen. Them and their immediate family would be brought into the bunkers.

Then the 'gifted' were given the option to choose 1 other citizen of England to save. These 'chosen' would help to repopulate society after the war. Operation 284 was to take place in 48 hours. Citizens who did not make it to the bunkers would e remembered for their courage for their sacrifice to the country and it's royal family.
