So apparently, Jake had asked Luke for his permission to date me. He said yes only if he took care of me and brought me home before my curfew. Other than that, we could do what we wanted. Then "Hopeful" by Bars and Melody came on. I started singing Charlie's part and Jake sang Leondre's part. Almost, actually. He CANNOT rap, so we switched parts, since I could rap. After we brought Luke home, we decided to go to the store. I really liked him until something happened. He stopped chatting and seeing me.
After a month, I still didn't get over the fact that Jake probably broke up with me. After I got home from school, I ran in my room and cried my heart out. Luke was knocking on my door. " Go away!" I yelled at him.
" I have something for you," he said back. I wiped my tears away and opened the door. Standing right in front of me was Luke and... Jake??? Why was he here? Jake came over and hugged me. I hugged him back. I signed thank you to Luke.
" Why are you here?" I asked him.
" I wanted to say sorry for not talking to you. I was in the hospital."
" For a month?!?"
" Yeah. I sorta get in a car accident. My parents di ... they died." I saw he was trying to hold back tears. I hugged him for even longer.
" You will never be an orphan. We'll take care of you."
" Really?" He asked with tears in his eyes. " You would really do that for me? "
" Yeah. I can't imagine not doing it for you."
" Thanks," he said shyly, tears streaming his eyes.
The next day, we went out again. This time it was the three of us that went out. We went to the Mall of New Hampshire. First, we went out for lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse. After we ate, We went to Build A Bear Workshop. I made bears for the boys, and they each made me one. After about 8:30, we left. Luke drove us home. This was one of the best days of my life.
At five in the morning, I heard a noise downstairs. It sounded like a pan falling. I ran down the stairs, and there was Jake laying on the floor with a pot on his foot. He was unconscious. I used my experience to help him. I listened for his breathing, checked his pulse, and dilated his pupils. He looked OK from what I saw. I yelled at Luke to get down stairs. His hair was a mess. I told him that a pot had fallen on Jake's foot and that he looks fine. His foot was swollen though. We left him there. I watched him while Luke called an ambulance. The paramedics put Jake on a stretcher and took him to the hospital. We followed in Luke's car.
When we arrived at the hospital, Jake was already in a room. He broke his right foot. I sat in a chair next to his bed. He finally woke up after half an hour. He was frightened at first, because it reminded him about what happened in the hospital last time. I felt so bad for him.
