You & I

Chapter2:

Amelia's POV:

I am Amelia Nicole Hastings and I am seventeen years old and currently single. I have a part time job at Sip This and I am a gymnast. My mom passed away a few years ago so you can consider my dad a 'widow'. I live with my dad, Mike, and my newborn puppy, Pluto on Cherokee Road in Massachusetts. I don't get to see my dad a lot because has a job as a lawyer full time. I am shy and bad at meeting new people and being nice to them. I like everything on time too. I like to take pictures and explore too and am indecisive about what I want to do after I graduate from high school. My two closest, and most trustworthy friends are Ally Jacobs and James Keegan. Basically, that's all you need to know right now..

***Anyways...***

I pull out of the driveway and head off to Boston High School. As I pull into the school parking lot, I see my two closest friends, Ally Jacobs and James Keegan, walking toward me. They both yell, "AMELIA HASTINGS!" and run up to me and give me a hug as I step out of the car. I respond, "One, I'm not even out of the car fully, Two, we saw each other Friday.. and today's Monday., and Three.. well, I love you idiots" I hug them back, and we all smile as we walk toward the high school building.

Me, being locker 127, Ally, being locker 123, and James being 129, we are inseparable. But, I only have two classes with Ally, and one class with James, but have a class altogether during Lunch!

I open my locker and take my books, trying to make it to first period History. As I am walking, I think about my two best friends, James, the football player, 'the jock', who has a sensitive heart which I love about him. Best friends since 7th grade. Ally Marie, gymnast who loves the color purple, has been my best friend since day one... aka 1st grade, who in which has a fun, enthusiastic personality and I just love her, she's a legit girl. After thinking to myself, I casually walk to class.

-bell rings, same routine for every class-

6th period, Lunch!:

11:50pm

Finally, I get to see my best friends. As I happily walk down to lunch, I see Ally. She asks, "Ready to go?" I say, "Yeah, but.. where's James?" "Oh I forgot to tell you, James has a football meet so it's just us two today." I sighed and started walk toward the door and eventually half smiled at Ally. "Where are we going for lunch?" Ally, being Ally said, "Pizza sounds great, what about Vincent's Pizzeria?" I smiled, nodded and continued walking to the pizzeria down the block with my best friend.

As Ally and I arrive, I ask Ally, "Can you get me two plain slices to stay?" and I hand her the money for my slice. "I have to run to CVS, I need to grab a snack for later, are you okay with that?" I ask. She nod's and replies; "Of course. Wanna split a large coke?" I smile and nod, then walk to CVS.

12:00pm

As I walk into CVS, I find simple pretzels in case I am hungry during my shift at the little coffee shop down the street of my house called, "Sip This." I walk to the snack aisle and take a little bag of pretzels and see a guy, looks like he was about eighteen or nineteen who is in the same aisle as I am in. He smiles at me and I just kind of stare. I remember that I have to get back to Ally so I just look down at my pretzels; making sure I have them, and walk to the self register. I put the money in, take the receipt, put it in my purse along with the pretzels, and walk out of the store.

12:10pm

I walk back into the pizzeria and see Ally right away. Before she could say anything, I walk up to her. "I'm sorry I took so long. It was just... uh, there was this guy. I can't explain it." Ally smiled, as always! I thought to myself. Ally replied, "No worries, here's the pizza and I know you love Parmesan so here!" She handed me the slice and Parmesan. I finally sat down, put the Parmesan on, and ate my pizza with Ally.

12:25pm

As we sit down finishing our pizza, I looked at my watch. "Uhh, Ally, we have to go it's 12:25pm, and counting." Ally nodds, takes her last bite as I quietly wait for her. We threw the plates out, and thanked the men working for the great pizza and walked back to school. Ally, blurted out, "Well that was a nice lunch, wasn't it?" I nodded as we walked back into school and arrived at 12:30pm.
