Kaci's POV
I woke up to something softly shaking me, when I finally got enough energy to open my eyes I saw Jake with his shaggy blonde hair dangling I from of his face.
"Morning kiddo, come on get dressed were all going out and when I say all I mean ALL" he said giving me a i know you look and walking out. I sat at the edge of my bed staring at my wardrobe directly opposite me and then I remembered. I wasn't here last night, I was downstairs and then my mum.... Everything then rushed back and made sense. Marcus was there, he held me, he made me feel better. Mom try's to put me down even if I'm not around her, she will never let me try and move on and forget! I though but I decided that I should stop feeling sorry for myself as downstairs there are amazing people who care about me. I paused and snorted at myself as it was such a stupid idea.
*timeskip getting changed*
As I made my downstairs I could hear muffled whisperes from everyone standing at the door so being the nosy person I am I tried to listen but I'm also the most clumsy person you will ever meet so my foot slipped on the step and I landed there with a big thump which soon got everyone's attention.... That's just great.
