Chapter Two
After I was all caught up on Joey's videos, I got a phonecall. The screen of my phone lit up and the name Whale popped up. I smiled and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
"Hey, Kate! Guess what I saw on Twitter?" an excited voice yelled.
"What?" I asked, logging on.
"Joey's in an empty Hungercraft server! He tweeted it just now, hurry!" My friend urged, it was true. On my computer screen, there was a tweet from Joey. It had to be recent, too. "Oh my gosh! I'll call you back later, bye!" I said as I hung up the phone. I quickly ran Minecraft and searched for Joey's server. I found it and clicked, hoping it wasn't full.
When the bar was almost completely full, I got disconnected. WHAT? "DANGIT!" I yelled. Now, he and Stacy are probably going to be playing with people like Devon_Mines or something. I never really liked Devon either. Well, since I'm on Minecraft, might as well play a little. I went on a different Hungercraft server and waited for more players.
Good news, I won the games. Bad news, I never got to meet Joey, Stacy, or Meghan. Probably never will, anyway. I suddenly noticed it was already noon. I decided to eat lunch out today, so I changed into a T-Shirt, somes jeans, a pair of converse, and a red sweatshirt. Even though it was only the middle of August, I still get cold easily for some reason.
I then grabbed my phone and cash and left the apartment. I decided to go to this nearby Chinese place, it wouldn't be too far of a walk. Once I stepped inside, I was seated immediately. That was good because I'm starving. And soon enough, I had a steaming plate of lo mein in front of me. I dug right in and was finished fairly quickly. Then, I paid for my meal and went back home.
Back in my apartment, I went on my computer and checked Joey's channel for any new videos. There weren't any yet, so I decided to go watch Greater than, Less than on Meghan's channel. God, I love that show.
