Jacks POV

Everything was black for a moment but soon I jolted to the side then the light came. I couldn't see anything but I knew I was moving. I rubbed my eyes and blinked looking around I look up and I'm now in Marks hand. I look behind us and his mom is chasing us Mark runs into his house closes the door and locks it he then sets me on the table "Jack, I am so so so so so so SO sorry! I didn't think she would do that." "It's ok Mark, you didn't know and" "No it's not ok. She shouldn't have done that and I don't know why she did that but I promise you I will find out and I will stop this. Oh and Jack, you're sleeping in my room tonight and I'm not letting you leave my side I don't know what my mom will do." I think about it for a second and come to the conclusion that it made sense "Ok Mark, I understand." I muttered quietly still in shock from what had happened but the loud banging on the door and the voice I heard brought me back to reality "MARK EDWARD FISHBAUCH OPEN THIS DOOR!" Mark grabbed me and put me in his pocket then opened the door "Mom, are you going to give Jack back to me now?" I was surprised I could hear them from in the pocket since I couldn't see anything "WHAT!? You don't have him!?" "NO! I thought you still had him!" "NO! MY MISSION I FAILED!" I then hear a thud on the ground I guess she dropped "Mom come in." Mark then starts moving and I think they sat on the couch but Mark didn't so he wouldn't crush me "Mom why did you take Jack? What did you mean when you said I couldn't help him?" "Mark, honey I need to tell you something.......I got a job." "A job?" "Yes but this job isn't normal. I work with a company that does experiments on different things and Jack was a test subject and that's why he shrunk." I can believe I'm hearing this I couldn't control myself and popped my head out of Marks pant pocket "WHAT!?ARE YOU INSANE WOMAN!?" She was so surprised that I was here "JACK! OMG YOU'RE HERE MY BOSS WON'T KILL ME!" she went to grab me from Marks pocket but Mark beat her "If your boss doesn't I might." he said sternly "Now give us answers mom. Why did you do this to Jack?" I pop my head from his hand "Yeah! Why me?!" she stood up I flinched back into Marks hand "Boys I thought Mark could take care of you." she said getting closer to me but Mark backed up "And when Mark said you got hurt I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again so I could continue running my tests." "Mom when will Jack be normal again?" "3 weeks." "WHAT! I yell losing my balance and almost falling out of Marks hand but he saw and held me back so I didn't fall "See Mark that's what I'm talking about that's why he should come with" "Mom! Here are some rules 1 Jack is staying here 2 you will leave him alone 3 you will go back home and finally you never speak about this again got it?" "But Mark" "No mom go. I'll call you in 3 weeks when Jack's back to normal." he said basically pushing his mother and her bags out of his house and closing the door on her. He walks over and sits on the couch me on his hand "M...mark?" I ask looking up at him "Yeah Jack?" he says not even looking down at me "Uh......I'm gonna go get some fresh air in the backyard." I go to jump off his hand but he stops me "Jack, I told you earlier, you're not leaving my side something could happen to you and you could die." I just looked down irritated "Mark I'm" "Your a full grown man, I know but at this size your not and you just need to understand this." wow I can't believe he just told me that I thought Mark wouldn't care I then pain going through my leg "AHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed and fell on my side in the palm of his hand "JACK! WHAT HAPPENED!?" "My leg!" "Ohhh the cut probably got dirt in it after today, come on I fill up a bowl with water and you can wash it."
