The Hell Twins

Chapter 3

"Hmm intelligent mind i see-" the hat started.
"IT FREAKING TALKS!" Alex jumped a good foot on the stool. The Great Hall started laughing but Dan was howling, wiping tears out of his eyes.
"Oh, Alex that was brilliant! Your face!" He laughed.  Alex grumbled,
"oh shut it you."
The hat was placed back on her head.

"Now where was I? Oh, yes. Very intelligent but to much of a rule breaker for Ravenclaw. Loyal, yes. But definitely not suitable for Hufflepuff. Your brave and cunning. Slytherin or Gryffindor?"
"Well," she thought, "Gryffindors the red one yes? Well that will clash with my hair so Slyther-thingy it is."
"Very well then - SLYTHERIN!" The hat shouted. The green table roared while the other tables glared at her. But especially the Gryffindors.
"Ugh, house rivalry." She thought, "I'm gonna be hated by the rest of the school now! Oh well!"
She glared right back at anyone who glared at her and jumped down the steps, skipping over to the green table and high-fiving Dan on the way.
"Daniel Smith." Mcgonagall called.
Daniel strolled over to the hat, flashed a smile that had all girls swooning and sat down. Mcgonagall placed the hat on his head.

"Ooh a twin. Well you are very intelligent like your sister but, again, too much of a trouble maker for Ravenclaw. Again, like your sister, your loyal but Hufflepuff will not do. Hm Slytherin or Gryffindor? I think that the bravery rules over...
GRYFFINDOR!"

Three-quarters of the Hall burst into cheers as Dan stood up. No one at the Slytherin table was clapping apart from Alex who stood up.
"WELL DONE MY DEAR CHILD YOU HAVE DONE ME PROUD!" She shouted, wiping a fake tear from her eye.
"OH THANK YOU SO MUCH. I WOULDN'T BE HERE IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU!" He shouted back. A few laughs where heard as they sat back down but the Slytherins and Gryffindors where too busy glaring at each other to notice. Dumbledoors eyes twinkled even more when Dan was sorted into Gryffindor.
"Maybe this will start to break the house rivalry now?" He thought.
He stood up and addressed the crowd of now silent, students.
"Now tuck in!" He said and food appeared on the plates on the table. Alex and Dan looked at it wide with wide eyes.
"WOO BACON!" They shouted at the same time. They grinned at each other and grabbed handfuls of bacon.

Once Alex had eaten at least four bits of bacon she looked at the people siting around her. The boys sitting opposite her stuck his hand out cockily, "Im Draco, Draco Malfoy." He said. Alex only nodded at him, "well I'm sure you know who I am after the sorting." She then turned back to her bacon. After eating a bit she looked back up to the boy who was staring at her in shock.
"Yes?" Her right eyebrow rose.
"He's in shock," a voice beside her said, "No ones ever rejected him before, even for a handshake." She looked over at the voice. It was a boy. He had tan skin and dark brown hair.
"I'm Blaise Zabini." He said. She grinned at him before turning back to the Draco boy opposite her.
"So no ones ever rejected you before?" She smirked, "oops, sorry to burst your bubble." She then turned back to Blaise, "please tell me he's not some Pureblood snob." She begged. Blaise grinned at her while Draco glared at Blaise,
"Well.." He started before Draco interrupted him.
"I am not!" He exclaimed.
"Are to."
"Are not."
"Are."
"Not."
"Are."
"ALRIGHT! Shut up you two!" Alex grinned. "Draco, if someone confronted you in the hallway, what would you do?"
"I would tell my father straight away! The heir to a Noble and Ancient house should not be-"
Alex and Blaise burst into laughter. "He's so prim and proper! We've got a long way to go Mr Malfoy." She laughed.

Over at the Gryffindor table, Daniel sat down beside a bunch of boys that looked his age. The one closest to him turned and stuck his hand out, "Harry Potter." He said. It was the boy from the train. Daniel grinned and shook his hand. "I'm pretty sure you know my name." They both laughed.
"This is Teddy Lupin." He nodded towards the boy sitting opposite Dan.
"Is this the boy you where looking for when we met after the train?" He asked
"Yeah," Harry said, "he's a metamophorgus, as you can tell, so he's easy to spot with his blue hair."
Teddy looked confusingly at Daniel.
"He has silver hair." He pointed out. Daniel smirked and changed his hair to the same shade of blue as Teddy. The boys gasped. "Cool!" Harry said, "two people in our year that are metamophorgus'! Awesome!" Daniel laughed and spotted a boy sitting opposite Harry. Harry noticed him looking and said,
"This is Orion Black." He pointed to the boy opposite him. He had black hair that reached his shoulders and sharp, aristocratic facial features. Daniel grinned at him, he glared back. Daniel rose his right eyebrow and looked at Harry for explanation.
"He's the school player and I think he has now got some competition!" Teddy laughed.
Daniel smirked, "No need to worry mate, I'm not a player."
Orion looked at him, "why not? You can obviously get any girl you want."
"I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. I'd prefer to get someone that I really like, like more than just looks, and they really like me then any random girl." Harry snorted. "Orion doesn't care who he hurts."
"I've got a twin sister- I kinda understand girls." He said.
Orion looked over to the Slytherin table. Alex was nearly in tears of laughter with Zabini while Malfoy was sitting opposite her with his arms crossed.
"She's a Slytherin." Orion said disgusted. Daniel grinned, "yeah, she gets on with anyone and can make you laugh in a second." He then noticed the disgust in Orion's voice. "Got a problem with her in Slytherin Black?" He glared at him. Orion nodded his head, still glaring at the Slytherins, "all Slytherins are evil. Won't be surprised if the next Dark Lord came from there. Im just glad we haven't had a Dark Lord since Grindelwald!"
Daniel growled, "My. Sister. Is. Not. Evil."
The boys looked at him in shock.
"Oh.. Er okay." Teddy said, trying to avoid an argument. The conversation went on as usual from then on, the boys laughing and throwing food at each other. Most of the school was looking in awe and shock at these new kids, a girl who can make Slytherins pee themselves with laughter and a boy who just became best friends with the Marauders. It was going to be an interesting year.

"Draco, where exactly is theCommon Room?" Alex poked Draco in the arm repeatedly. Draco slapped her hand away, "Get off Smith," he sneered. Blaise laughed, "honestly I've never met a girl like you before!"
Alex grinned and flicked her hair, "I know. I'm wonderful." And walked away smirking. Draco looked thoughtfully at her.
"She's the most unslytherin Slytherin I've ever met!"
Alex stopped and turned to Draco. She threw her hands in the air and pouted, "I was going for the dramatic exit but I don't know where the Common Room is!" Blaise laughed. He folded his arms and smirked.
"Blaaaise pleease!"
Draco stood beside them a bored expression on his face.
"Wel-" Blaise started.
"ALEX!" Daniel came running up behind them.
"DAN!" She jumped into his arms and he twirled her.
"How you doing?" He looked over to Draco and Blaise, "they treating you alright?"
Alex sighed and smacked the back of head, "oi get out of protective big brother mode, i want Dan back!"
They laughed, "so who are those guys you where siting next to?" Alex said, "They where hot."
"Awe I'm flattered Smith!" Orion said from behind her. Alex rolled her eyes and turned back to Dan but before he could answer, Harry, Teddy and Orion jumped in front of her.
"We are the one and only," Teddy said.
" pranking kings of Hogwarts," Harry carried on.
"And exceptionally handsome prankers" Orion continued.
"The Marauders." They finished in sync.
"Second Generation." Teddy pointed out. Alex raised a perfect eyebrow, "pranking kings you say?" They nodded and grinned. Alex just smirked and turned and stalked away Draco and Blaise on her heel.
"Phew Padfoot, she's gonna be a challenge!" Harry said smirking at Orion who was looking where Alex just stalked away.
"There is no way Orion is getting anywhere near my sister!" Dan said. Orion grinned, "can't stop her if she wants me though!"
Dan actually laughed, "she won't want you Orion!"
The four boys laughed and walked up to the Gryffindor Common Room.

Back at the Slytherin Common Room, Draco, Blaise and Alex where siting on the large black sofas when Pansy can over. She sat herself on Draco's lap and put her hands around his neck, "hey Dracy-poo." She kissed him. Alex and Blaise made throwing up motions to each other behind her back, right in Draco's eyesight. Draco pushed her off and placed her on the sofa beside him, "Parkinson." He nodded. She pouted, "why is he so rude? Im gorgeous he needs to appreciate me more!"  She huffed and strode away, her two 'bodyguards' following her. As soon as the where out of eyesight Alex and Blaise burst into laughter. Draco glared at them, "don't" he said when Alex opened her mouth. Alex and Blaise laughed again.
"Don't know what your talking about Smith, Black clearly likes you." He accused smirking. Alex stopped laughing and shuddered, "ugh ew." Draco smirked. "He never laughs" Alex noted.
"So 'pranking kings' eh?" Alex said, "I could out prank them in a minute!" Draco and Blaise turned to her, "as much as it pains me too say, they are good." Blaise said. Draco snorted. Alex grinned, "well we'll just have to be better."  They, well mainly Blaise and Alex, discussed how they would out-prank the Marauders.
"I know now why your a Slytherin Smith." Draco smirked. 
"That's me." Alex flicked her hair and glided up to her dorm.
"Woah Draco, she's hot!" Blaise swung his legs up on the black sofa and turned to Draco who just ignored him. Blaise sighed, "why the emotionless mask all the time Draco?" He wondered. Draco just couldn't have any fun in public he decided. When it was just the two of them he was fine but in public it was a different story. They got up and made their way to their own dorm.
Up in the girls dorm Alex found her trunk on top of her new bed. It was the one closest to the door. She changed into shorts and one of Dan's t-shirt that she 'borrowed' and climbed into bed. She sighed thinking about how she was going to break Draco's mask.
