I woke up the next morning looking at my clock. It was 4:30 Am and my daddy would be here soon.
I went take a shower and get ready. I put on some grey shorts and a black tank top with a black and white lettermen. I let my hair stay down with the slight waves. I put on some Concord Jordan's and walked get my bags.
"Kree" my grandmother said
"I'm up and dressed Grammy"I said and roll my bags and grabbed my MCM tan backpack and walk down the steps.
"Grab that dam phone its been going off all morning" she said as she cooked a little breakfast.
I unplugged it and sat on one of the stools at the counter. It was messages and stuff from Tre and notification I'll see them on the plan.
I put my phone back on the charger.
"You ready to go to the country" she asked
"It ain't all country"
"I lived there its country"
"You did"
"Yeah your father was born there but we moved to Miami once he was little" she said
"Wow Grammy why you always keeping things like this to yourself"
"Baby nobody wanna listen to my stories y'all kids like to learn for yallselves these days so I keep things to myself"
"I wanna hear them"
"Mhm sure that's probably your daddy at the door sit and eat I'll go answer" she and I nodded and sat down and ate my food.
Seconds later my daddy walked in looking tired as hell. Its been busy for him these last couple of days not to mention my moma and him arguing.
"Hey daddy' I said
"Hey kree" he said and grabbed some bacon off my plate causing my grandmother to hit his hand
'You got a plate in the kitchen don't steal her food kyree" she said and he walked to the kitchen.
He sat next to me eating
"Had fun" he asked
"Yeah" I said and gave him the bacon anyway. Grammy was so tired she forgot I can't eat bacon.
We finished and waved goodbye promising to call her when we landed and walked out the house.
We got in the car and drove to the airport and then bored the plane.
"Wake me up when they land" he said and I nodded watching him sleep.
I stayed up because o knew once we landed he would have to be back on his feet.
I seen he still had his gun on him. Years in the drug world will make you paranoid.
I listened to music and went to Instagram.
It was a lot of pictures or me and tre and the guys.
One stuck out it was a picture of us at homecoming. He was staring at me as I laughed

I liked it knowing he was trying.
"We're about to land" the flight attendant said and I nodded
I walked to my daddy doing what he taught me. I took the gun and woke him up
"What" he asked
"We landing grouch' I said and he scratched his head and walked to the bathroom
I shook my head and reached for my bags and stuff.

I closed my phone with a smile and waited for the plan to land.
Once it landed I ran off to see maejor. I ran into his arms.
"I misses you bestie" I said
"I missed you to midget" he said finally putting me down
"He Mr.Emmanuel"
"Hey kree wassup kyree" he said dapping him up
Maejor took my bags while I carried my backpack
"You got some fruity juice" he asked and I nodded pulling out the red one and handing it to him
"Thanks" he said
It was juice I had made that had you feeling good.
It was a small amount of xans jolly rancher juice and some more stuff.
"It feel good out here" I said
"Better in Miami" he said and grabbed my hand
"I want a pic like that" I said
I gave my phone to daddy and we went back to how we was and he took the pic.
"Thanks" I said grabbing and looking at it.
"Send that to me" maejor said
"Ight so what do you do out here" I asked
"Wanna be a country girl or city girl this weekend"
"Both" I said and with a smile
"I thought so" he said
We walked to the truck and he put my things in the back and helped me in
"Y'all two together" Mr.Emmanuel asked
"No sir just good friends." I said and Mae nodded
"Mhm I'm pretty sure your gonna enjoy your stay here" he said and I nodded
We reached our hotel and went check in.
Mr.E went home with my father after while me and Mae called and uber.
"Where we going"I asked
"Outs of town I want you to meet someone special" he said
"What's out of town"
"Its a city called lake Charles it's not far"
"Who lives there" I asked
"My Grams" he said
"Your taking me to meet your grams dressed like this"
"Yeah" he said
"You could at least let me get dressed"
"Why " he asked
"Cause I don't wanna look like I don't car-
"You look beautiful" he said
"Thanks"
"So ol' boy tripping" he asked
"Ain't no more ol' boy" I said
"Guh stop lyin" he said
"I ain't lying I'm for real he still jealous of you"
"Why" he asked
"Cause he say that I talk to you and all that more like really I can talk to you in public you aren't afraid of my brother or father" I said
"Why he scared of ya bro" he asked checking his phone.
"I don't know " I said rolling my eyes
He looked up at me from under his visor and smirked
"Ya cute when ya angry" he said tapping my nose
"I ain't no rabbit" I said
"You starting to sound like me" he said with a laugh
"Shut up Mae"I said
"We're here" he said and the driver pulled up to a 2 story house by the lake shore.
It was pretty I can say that.
We got out and he tipped the uber man who drove away after.
"This place looks quiet" I said
"Not really but come on" he said
We walked to the door and knocked on it. A older woman came answer it
She was light skin with thick black hair. She was my height and you could see her laugh lines.
"Aww if it isn't my grand baby" she said pulling him into a hug.
"Hey grams" he said kissing her cheek
"And who is this"she asked looking me up and down
"My Bestfriend kree"
"I ain't dumb maejor"
"What you cooked" he asked walking in the house.
I followed and sat on the couch. They walked in the kitchen to talk and I just looked around.
My phone vibrated

Me-his grandmothers house wyd
Bug brudda- bout to hurt Tre

Big brudda- he being annoying

"Who you texting" maejor said coming sit next to me
"Kj"
"Why that nigga ain't come out here" he asked
"He had to handle things out there with my uncle"
"Glad he did"
"Why is that".
"Cause I miss my Bestfriend but we have to hurry and eat then go back to new Orleans there is a connect party"
"Ight"
His grandmother came and handed us a bowl of gumbo.
"You not allergic to seafood right baby" she asked
"No ma'am".
"That's my famous gumbo' she said with a smile
"You ever had that before' she asked
"Yes ma'am my Grammy cooks it"
"She from here"
"Yes ma'am she moved out away when my daddy was born"
"Wish she would have stayed" maejor whispered
I tasted the gumbo and felt all warm inside
"You like" she asked
"I love" I said eating more.
Me and maejor had had about 3 bowls each before our fathers called and said we needed to be on our way for the party.
We called an uber and drove back.
I had fallen asleep on Mae shoulder.
He shook it once we reached new Orleans.
"We here" he said and I looked and seen we were at my hotel.
"Carry me"
"Nah " he said as we got out and ran to the hotel.
I jumped on his back and we laughed.
"Spoiled ass" 
"Shush" I said. I grabbed my phone out my back pocket and went to Snapchat.
"Say hey Mae" I said with a smile
"Hey y'all" he said
"His accent"I mouth and he smiled.
"Give me the dog emoji" he said
I went back and we did the dog filter and licked things then he licked my face.
"Ewww" I said and the video went off I posted both of them and captioned the first one
"His accent" and the second "he weird"
Once we reached my room I slid down
"You coming in" I asked
"Nah I'm just making sure you get in your room I'll call you when I'm downstairs." He said and nodded hugging him.
"Bye best friend" I said
"Byeee" he said and walked down the steps.
Once he was gone I walked in my room that was adjoined with my father. I went knock on his door.
He came in looking like he just woke up
"Where you went" he asked
"Lake Charles"
"See his grandmother huh" he asked
"Yeah she can throw down but can I get my dress" he asked
"Oh yeah" he said and went in to get it.
I grabbed it and went to facetime my mom
"Hey " she said
"I need your help with this" I said
"Where you going" she asked
"Connect party"
"Mae your date" she asked
"Yeah"
"Let me see the dress" she and I unzipped the bag. It was a white body con dress.
"Ight look in the bag I made you take they got gold necklaces and shit in there go grab it.
I went get it and then showed her
"Ight now go shower and stuff while I cook for these children." She said
"Ight"
"Wait that's kree" I heard someome yell
Next thing I know I sew them fighting for the phone
"Hey lil sis"Justin said
"Hey big cheese" I said

"Party with mae"
"Ight call us when you get back" he said

I went run take a shower once I did everything I walked in the room and seen angel had the phone
"Ma told me to help you and hold the phone' she said and I nodded getting ready
"Make up" I asked
"A little gold eye shadow and some cat eye" she said with a shrug
I slid on my gold pumps and did a 360 for them since they were now all there
"What y'all think" I asked

"I agree"
"You look beautiful" my moma said
"Thanks mommy" mae texted popped up saying open the door.
"Hold up" I said and went open the door.
"Who you talking to'my dad said as he entered to.
"Them" I said and he looked at my phone and walked towards it while I opened the door talking to them
"Guess this the theme" mae said coming in wearing all white with gold shoes a gold bow tie and gold suspenders
"For real" I said
"Oh he right here now"
My dad turned the camera on us and showed them. I didn't miss how Tre rolled his eyes and walked out the room.
"We have to go bye mommy bye y'all love y'all" I said an went kiss daddy cheek
"Bye" they all said ad we walked out
We took the steps again cause mae hates elevators.
