I sigh in relief as I realize lunch is in two minutes. I basically run out the door and to my locker. As I put my stuff up I see Louis at his locker looking at me every so often.
"Wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch?" He asked me. I nodded while trying so hard not to blush.
We walked to the lunch room and Louis told me about the mean teachers and how to act around them. On the way Louis was stopped multiple times by people saying hi and giving him high-fives. When the people came I just kinda looked at the ground until they left. Louis and I got in line and got our lunch. I got a salad and he got a cheese burger. As we walked in the direction of the table his friends were at some of them seemed a bit iffy.
Louis sat next to a guy who had a nose and lip piercing. Then I sat next to him at the end of the table. I would zone in and out of the conversations that bored me. "I'll be right back. Be nice Niall" Louis said giving a name to the boy with the piercings. "Kay dude" he replied. "Are you Irish?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled. "Yeah. You like accents babe? Because mine is much sexier than Lou's. Plus, us Irish are always drinking" he said. "Niall. Chill. Quit freaking her out. I'm Ariana. Call me Ari" the girl said. I smiled. "Noel." I said.
"Yeah we know..." Said a very tan boy.
"Awww Zayn are you jealous that Louis is in love with someone else?" Ari says. I try not to laugh but I let out a little chuckle.
"Ha-ha-ha so funny Ari." He said while rolling his eyes. He took a bite of his hamburger as Louis returned. Louis smiled at me and I smiled back. Yet again the conversations bored me so I just finished my salad. I quickly got up to throw away my trash hoping no one noticed. As I threw away my plate Louis came up behind me. "Hey did they say anything to scare you?" He asked.
"We'll Ari is cool. Zayn is I don't know. And Niall seems like a....." I said.
"Man slut. Yeah he is"
"Those weren't my exact words..." I said. Louis smiled. "I'll walk with you to your next class?" He asked. I nodded. We walked silently to my next class which was Latin. Apparently Louis had the same class considering he grabbed a Latin book out of his locker.
"So umm wanna hang out sometime? Maybe Friday?" He asked.
"Sure" I said smiling. Wow first day and I do have a friend. Yes friend. Not boyfriend. Maybe.
The week couldn't possibly go by any slower. It's Wednesday and apperently school gets out after our class after lunch every Wednesday. The day went by quickly and I sat next to Madi, my first freind here, at lunch today instead of Louis and his freinds. Yesterday Ari kinda freaked me out. She told me that Louis has umm done stuff with every girl he has dated. I hope I'm not counted into that. Maybe it was just slutty girls? I hope so.
"Hey you have a free period?" Louis ask me at our lockers. I nodded to him.
"Wanna play cards?" He asked.
"Sure" I said slightly laughing. He led me to a small room in the back of the school. We sat at one of the tables. Louis sat across from me and pulled a deck of cards out of his pocket.
"So what game are we playing?" I asked.
"We'll I made up with one game. The object of the game is to get a full set of clubs, spades, Hearts, or diamonds. First we each draw four cards from the deck." I then did so. "Okay if you have any pairs or something you want to keep those. At this point you want to choose what you are going for. But we dot tell each other. Now you can switch it whenever you want. But it's better not to. Okay so once you have chosen you can either draw a card or discard one." I decided to draw a card after I chose spades. I got 3 of spades. Yes. So now I have three spades in my hand. "Umm how many cards for each thing?" I asked.
"Thirteen I think" he said. The game went on for a while. "Clubs!" Louis said as he showed all of his cards. I smiled. "I was one away from spades!! That ace!!" I said as I put the cards down.
"Haha so Ace of Spades, wanna play another game? We might have enough time. " Louis Said smiling.
"Okay Knave of Clubs" I said.
"Ahh the great Knaves" he said. I smiled. We played another round but find get to finish. As the bell rang I gave him the cards. I made sure I had everything in my bag then stood up. "Your not making me pick up the cards are you Spades?" He said.
"Of course I am Knave" I said smiling. "Kidding" I went over and helped him shuffle the cards and put them in its Casing.
"Thanks Ace of Spades"
"No problem Knave of Clubs" we looked at each other for a few seconds. We weren't to far away from each other. Possible only five inches. He started to lean in. I cleared my throat and backed up. "I better go" I said. I hurried out of the room and down the hall. "Just come and kiss me Ace!" He said.
"In your dreams Knave!" I say back. I giggle as I started to jog towards the bus. I got on the bus and sat next to Alfie.
"How are you Noel" I smiled and looked out of the window. "Noel" he said.
"Oops sorry I'm good. You?" I asked. He started to talk but I just zoned out and thought about what would have happened if I did kiss him.
