"Hey Noel. Umm well thing is I have uhh stuff to do so I can't hang out with you today. But I'm happy because I never really liked you" he said. Well I wish he had said that.

"Ready to go?" He said. I smiled and nodded.

"Why wouldn't I be" I replied back to him. He put his belonging in his locker then closed it lightly. We then walked out of the school.

The drive was short and silent. We ended up at what I think is his house considering he pressed a button and the garage door opened.

"My parents are gone for the weekend and I really don't have any money to spend so this seemed like a great place to hang out" he said. I smiled at the fact that he admitted he has no money.

"So what do we plan to do here?" I asked him.

"Eat. Talk. And other stuff" he said smiling.

"Okay Knave" I said smiling. He chuckled whilst we reminisced on our past conversations.

"So. Have a seat" he said gesturing to the chocolate brown couch. I walked around the couch and sat down towards the end of it. Louis smiled and sat fairly close to me. He turned towards me before saying "So, tell me about yourself"

I looked at him. "You are quite curious aren't you?" I asked him.

"Hmm I guess that's the word" he said. I sighed.

"Well. I moved here from Ohio. I never really liked that place though, so, I wasn't particularly sad about leaving. I umm have been playing the piano since I was around seven I believe it was."I said. "And ill stop there" I said.

"No. I like it when you talk" he said. I blushed, stunned.

"First tell me about yourself" I said.

"Not much to tell actually" he said.

"Oh come on there's gotta be something" I said. He sighed.

"Well I play the guitar. Sorta." He said. I smiled.

"Okay that's a start. Umm favorite color?"

"Blue, yours?" He said.

"Orange. But not like a weird neon orange but orange like the sunset" I said.

"Is that like a modern rendition of Shakespeare?"

"No. Just me" I said. He chuckled.

"That's why you are so great." He said.

"You have hardly known me for a week. You can't know if I'm so called great or not" I said.

"And that's exactly why I can" he said. I looked at him puzzled. I decided to drop the subject.

"Wanna watch some tv?" He asks.

"Sure" I said. Louis grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. The news was on and I saw and explosion as he pressed guide. "Wait wait." I said. "Dont change it" he looked at me then got off of guide. He started to look nervous. I stared at the screen intensely.

Louis' POV

She looked devastated. When the reporter would say a fact about it she would gasp. When they replayed the bombing she hid her face in her knees. I moved over next to her.

"You okay Noel?" I asked her.

"My family lives there. My cousins go to school there" she said In-between sobs.

"I'm sorry" I say. I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer to me. She puts her head on my chest and sobs for what seems like hours. "Noel" I say in a whisper. She looks up at me and sniffles. Her eyes are bloodshot and around them is all covered in red splotches.

"I should go" she says. She starts to get up and wipe her tears. I stand up and go after her.

"Noel. I can drive you. You shouldn't be walking all by yourself."I tell her. She nods and I grab my keys. I open the door to my car for her then I close it. I hurry and run to my door and I quickly start the car.

"I live on Patterson road" she says quietly.

"Okay Noel"

The drive was sadly short and silent. I was hoping to start a conversation but I knew I couldn't. As I pulled into her driveway I looked at her.

"Thank you" she said as she got out. I opened my door and walked over to her. "Your welcome Noel. Call me?" I say. She just nods as she walks into her house. I hear people saying her name enthusiastically. I then hear sobs, very familiar to Noel's. I walk back to my car and drive away.
