When dared to go into a fortune tent, Chae Mathews finds out that everything she's been working for, everything she's been dreaming of, is never gonna happen. Her so called 'almost perfect life' hasn't been what it seems.
Adrien had been lied to about his fortune before. He never imagined going to Paris to find out that his girlfriend had been using him for the past 7 months. He never thought he'd find out his father was dying of cancer as his mother was planning to get a divorce.
He never though he'd find himself walking into another fortune tent, yet another lie. Chae and Adrien find themselves down the road of depression. Something that brings them together, yet tears them apart.
