Your head was beginning to hurt from being in the car for way too long.
"Hey mom? Are we there yet?"
"Sweetie i just told you a few minutes ago, its gonna be just one more hour until we're at our new home"
"Ugghhhh its already feeling like a whole day past since we've been in this car, plus my head hurts"
"Just go to sleep and when you wake up we'll be at our new house"
My dad said as he looked back at me, even though he was supposed to be paying attention to the road since he was driving.
"Okay fine i guess..."
You lay your head down facing the window looking at the mountains and other cars in the distance. You already miss your old home and all your friends at your old school.
You slowly closed your eyes, and as soon as you knew it, you were asleep.
" ( y / n ), wake up, we're here"
Your mom said as she softly shook you to wake you up
You slowly stood up and wiped your eyes. When you opened then you saw that it was already dark. You also saw your new house.
You jumped out the car and grabbed your bags and walked inside.
You stood in the middle of the doorway.
"So this is where we'll be living from now on?"
"Yep! Well unless i get another promotion."
Your dad said as he walked in with a few boxes
"Can i pick my room first?"
"Sure thing kiddo"
Your dad said as he walked outside for more boxes.
"Sweet!"
You ran upstairs and looked around. Then you found a perfect room.
It was big, had a walk in closet, and the view was amazing.
You put your stuff down and ran downstairs to help your parents bring in all your stuff.
Once that was finally done you got the air bed and plugged it in so it would fill up and then you ran back downstairs with your parents.
"So mom, tomorrow are we gonna make this place more like a home?"
"Yep!" "You got it kiddo"
Your parents said as they were getting their air bed ready
"Okay im going to bed now! Night mom! Night dad!"
Your mom walked towards you and gave you a kiss on the head
"Night sweetie, we'll unpack in the morning"
"Okay!"
You ran upstairs to your room and went to sleep.
