Fear
It penetrates any courage you may have
Its something even the devil can't control
It drowns you
You scream and scream in agony and pain
But no one can hear your obvious cries
They drag you down
Until you can't even shout for help
There's no escape
The shadows are closing in
Fear
Then there's a light
One star that no one controls
It shines so bright
Extinguishing any fear
Any nightmare you have
The shadows retreat
Revealing all the love
Overcame death and anger and pain
That light, that one star, smaller than the rest
Gave you more than hope
It gave you courage
Now having this courage does not mean your not afraid
For fear is always there
It just means that you stay strong no matter what
