It was the last period of the school day and the last day of the school week. You had math. It was your least favorite subject and by far the hardest for you to ace. The only reason you were still in that class and haven't chose to go down a level is because of the one and only Alex Aiono. He sat directly next to which caused you to always stare. Today was no different. "So class if I gave you the problem:  The population of a country increased by an average of 2% per year from 2000 to 2003. If the population of this country was
2 000 000 on December 31, 2003, then the population of this country on January 1, 2000, to the nearest thousand would have been?" You were so busy staring at Alex you didn't even hear the question. "(Y/N) why don't you solve the problem for us since your so busy staring at Alex." Your face went beat red partially because you had the entire class giggling at you while Alex eyes went wide and also because you had no idea how to solve this problem. "Um... can you repeat the question please I didn't catch it all?" "Sure." (A/N: I'm skipping the part where he repeats the problem cause I'm lazy and blah) you thought for what felt like minutes but you couldn't figure it out. The class was getting annoyed and the longer you thought the closer you were to breaking down. " The answer is one million eight hundred forty six thousand." You heard Alex say from beside you. "That's correct." The teacher said smiling to Alex. The bell finally rings and you get out of the class as soon as possible not paying attention to the teacher making an announcement to the class. On your way out you hear your name being called repeatedly. You turn around to Alex running to you. "What do you want Alex." You spat making it sound ruder than you intended. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner but... considering the tone of your voice I'm thinking your staring at me in class because of different reason." Alex responded while smirking. "No... I mean yes, yes! I want to go out with you. I'm sorry for the tone of my voice I'm just really upset because the teacher treats me like trash and I don't understand anything in that class." "It's fine I'm just joking around." Alex said while chucking. "So... since you said yes how does dinner at (Y/F/R) sound tomorrow at 8:00?" Alex said with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "That sounds perfect thank you." You replied "Well see you tomorrow than m'lady." Alex said while walking away. "Goodbye Alex... Wait! How do you know where I live you don't even have my number!" "Don't worry love I have it all figured out." Alex said turning his back to you walking away while you ran to your house already trying to figure out what to wear.
