"This party sucks." You say to your best friend Alex, as you stare at your boyfriend who is talking to other girls. Alex puts one arm around your shoulder and takes a sip of his drink. "You could do better." He says, staring at your boyfriend angrily. "Why do you let him hurt you like that? You really do deserve better. He's a scum bag." You just laugh at the fact that Alex is so protective over you; but you love it. You love him. He's always been more than a friend to you. You guys stay over at each other's houses for the night, and you've got each other's backs no matter what ... Your relationship is special, but you can't find the courage to tell him how you truly feel about him. Your boyfriend makes his way over to you and Alex. "Who's this joker?" he says pointing to Alex while slurring his words due to having a few to many drinks. "Uh..." Alex says with a confused look on his face. Your boyfriend grabs your arm and says "You've been with this idiot all night, we're leaving!" Alex hits his elbow, causing him to spill his drink and focus on him instead of you. Alex jumps up and you both run out of the house, hand in hand, laughing like you're crazy. Before you know it, you're both laying on the grass at the park staring at the star-filled sky. Alex slowly grabs hold of you hand and turns his head to you and smiles. "I've loved you since the first day I laid eyes on you." He says looking up to the sky. "I tried telling you so many times, but I thought you were out of my league." He said. "Are you kidding?" You replied. "I've always thought YOU were out of MY league! with your perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect jawline..." He rolled over on his side; your faces were practically touching. He gently grabbed your face and kissed you passionately "I never believed in 'love at first sight' until I met you" Alex said your lips still barely touching. You felt him biting his lip and it drove you crazy. Crazy in love.
