With no more eyes the light to see
Upon my horse, a wild steed
No more thoughts for safety's anchor
Emotions rage with destructive speed
With no more eyes the light to seeFrom outside little can be seen
Solutions come and go like clouds
Disconnected from the Earth
Lost and wandering within the crowds
From outside little can be seenMy worlds desire black and white
Choices clear direct and sure
Yet nothing outside seems but grey
Unseen consequences in vain endure
My worlds desire black and whiteThe light of love so long remembered
Jealousy and ego stained
My heart alone time and again
In folly and fear some times refrained
The light of love so long rememberedWith open eyes the light to see
I wander all the myriad ways
Helping those I care about
Hoping for love of more than days
With open eyes the light to see.
