We're Just Friends

<Ariana's POV>

I sighed, rubbed my eyes, sat up from my bed, and looked over at my phone.

NEW TEXT MESSAGE

Fr: Alexa
ARIANA! U forgetting something?

To: Alexa
No, at least I don't think so... Y u ask?

Fr: Alexa
I never told u! I really need to tell someone, and I trust u da most. if u don't wanna come den it fine....

To: Alexa
Oh shoot! I forgot! Tell me after I eat breakfast.

Fr: Alexa

I did my usual morning routine- I put my phone in my purse, got dressed, and drove to iHop.

{One Drive Later...}

I got my usual- bacon, pancakes, and a cup of coffee.

It was kinda awkward being here all alone. It was still pretty early, so there weren't many people around. Might as well just play on my phone....

<Ryan's POV>

Whoa. I actually woke up early for once. I feel awake, but at the same time really tired. I don't know. I guess I'm just lazy this morning.

I got up to feed Marley and Teddy. They seem really happy to see me. I smiled at them and said in my Jenna voice, "Who's Hungry? Are you hungry Teddy?"

They both barked back, wagging their tails, and panting. I poured their dog food into their bowls, and dragged myself downstairs and took a look at what I had in my kitchen. I didn't really like what I saw, so I got dressed into my STFU shirt and some pants and decided to go to iHop.

{Another One Drive Later....}

I don't usually go to iHop, but I just wanted to go for a change. Whenever I go to restaurants, I'm almost never alone... I usually go with Ariana, but I don't think she'll want to talk to me for a while cuz of last night...

Anyway, I should order. I'll just get some pancakes and bacon. Yeah. That seems nice.

<Ariana's POV>

"God fucking dammit. Why must you do this to me slendy?" I angrily whispered to my phone. Well. Enough of that. I think I should straighten things out with Ryan. I'll call him.

I dialed his number and heard his ringtone... the ringtone I personally put into his phone for my contact.... what? Is he here? I looked around then I heard his voice.

I put my phone against my ear.

"Hello? You there Ariana? What's up?" he said.

"Yeah. Can we talk about last night?" I asked.

"Sure, maybe later. I'm at iHop right now."

"Really? I am too! I'm at that one table towards the end. Maybe you can just come over? Did you order yet?"

"Yeah, I'll be right over. They didn't take my order yet."

Then he hung up. I exhaled deeply. What am I supposed to say? How--

Right at that moment, Ryan came and sat down across from me.

"Oh hey," I happily said, "so..... Okay Ryan, let's just forget that kiss ever happened, k? I don't think we should really have a silly thing like that keep us from seeing each other."

"Agreed. Anyway, what do you want to do now?"

"I guess you should just order."

Then we went on with our lives. Well, I think at least Ryan did. Honestly, I can't forget about that kiss. I want Ryan to be mine, but I know he doesn't feel the same. He seemed pretty happy when I said that we should forget about the kiss. The kiss didn't probably mean anything to him. You know what? I should just try to at least pretend that I'm cool as us being just friends.

Rawr. Imma tiger.

Oh, and yes. I didn't tell Alexa's secret on purpose, so don't tell meh I'm doing something wrong.
