Story 2: Pastries
He owned a bakery, where he baked pastries, shaped like cute little roses. He did it because that's what people demanded, but their expectations changed. He became stressed, depressed, he was unimpressed, and decided to do what he loved for a change. To make candles! He was happy, he was rich, and he was surrounded by things he loved. So why did he have a picture of his old pastries hanging up?
"Don't you want to get rid of that?"
A friend asked.
"No."
He said with a smile.
"It reminds me of what I survived. Of how I became who I am today."Poem 2: Expectations
You do what others want,
To be accepted by who you hate,
You live a perfect lie,
You face a terrible fate,
You decide to change...
You do what you love for a change...
You live a perfect life,
You surpassed the people you hate,
Your life is full of smiles now,
You have changed your fate.
The scars show what you have survived,
And of who you became.
