This is a short story entry for the competition by RomanceSparks .
The contest is writing a short story with a Bad Boy wearing an ugly Christmas sweater.
I hope you guys enjoy and that it maybe makes you laugh.***
As I carefully wind my way through the sea of bodies in the school hall dreading my next class, I see him. Mr Tyler Adams, the school "Bad Boy". Dressed in all black and wearing his signature scowl, he makes his way in the opposite direction. He doesn't have to struggle through the mass like I do, instead, people part for him like the red sea. I avoid staring as he passes, turning my attention to the classroom I'm about to enter.

It's ten minutes before the end of Chemistry when Tyler saunters into the class with a smirk plastered on his face. Some of the girls in the class immediately start batting their eyelashes and eyeing him up, causing his smirk to grow even more. Our professor starts moaning on about how "school is necessary for life" and that Tyler "takes it for granted and should stop acting so tough". Tyler rolls his eyes and keeps his arrogant smirk the whole time. Whilst I agree with Sir, I must admit that droning on for the remaining ten minutes is a bit excessive.

At the end of the day, I walk out of school with my younger brother Chris, when I spot Mr Adams standing near his Mustang, alternating between taking a puff of his cigarette and locking lips with some random girl. Chris scoffs in disgust as we start walking the short distance home.
On our way back, a familiar Mustang speeds past us, blaring music and leaving behind the smell of tobacco and the occasional tire mark. I don't know much about the school bad boy other than: he throws some apparent "killer" parties; he's been arrested at least three times for either drugs, speeding or theft; he doesn't care about anything other than his car; and that he's seen locking lips or dishing out hickeys to some different girl every day. I've never been invited to any of his parties as I don't enjoy smoking, drinking, or taking drugs, and I'm not a girl who's desperate for a quick snog or cheeky f**k from the mysterious bad boy.

The next few days/ last few days until we break up for Christmas run quite smoothly. I get full marks on a surprise test in History, my group is awarded an A in Maths for some project we completed, and no teachers have any breakdowns in class. On the second last day of term, I'm fully prepared for a perfect English lesson. I take my seat behind my closest friend Emilia and wait for the lesson to start. Jason, my other friend who usually sits beside me, left for Australia yesterday to spend Christmas with some of his family. I'm left with a spare seat next to me and will have to work by myself for the Christmas quiz. We have a double lesson with her tomorrow which will most likely be filled with a Christmas movie, according to Emilia.
Just before the bell rings, Tyler strolls into the lesson. Although he appears to enjoy this subject, he's usually late by at least ten minutes. He always works by himself as our class has an odd number of pupils, most of whom are too scared to work with him. Miss tells him to take a seat and gestures towards the one next to me. I quietly groan and judging by the small twitch of his lips, he hears me. As he slides into the seat, I try to keep my head down which becomes a difficult task once the quiz starts.
"Hey," he says, turning on the charm, "I guess we're partners."
"Looks like it, doesn't it." I reply shortly, earning what seems to be a small chuckle.
"You know," he starts, "I think we'd make a great pair."
"Really? That's funny, because I don't. Especially if by "pair" you mean in a sexual term." I retort. His faces flashes with slight confusion before returning back to the smirk.
"Oh, in that term, I think we'd make an excellent pair." He leans over and whispers. Now would be the time girls typically throw themselves at him. What a surprise it must be when I let out a snort and a bark of sarcastic laughter.
"Nice try. But I don't fall for your gross charms. You'll have to find a new toy."
