There was a loud noise. Everything around me was black. I couldn't feel anything but pain. Who am I? Where am I?
As I opened my eyes the world slowly started to regain color. I realized that I was lying in bed in a room, still not knowing where exactly that room is,
I could be anywhere in the world. The sensation of pain that I was very used to slowly started to fade and mix in with cold. Winter?
It was very cold, at this point I was aware that my hands and feet were numb. It was slowly spreading to my arms and legs and if I don't act
quickly probably my whole body. Another loud noise. This time I could tell that the noise was coming from the outside. I wanted to check what happened
but as I tried to move every muscle that I used was struck with a sharp pain. I still can't move, it's too early. On this cold not being able to move is
really bad. Why does my body have to be like this? Is there a reason behind it? Might my body even be normal? Does everyone experience this?
No, it can't be. Yet another loud noise. This time I could resist the sharp pain my muscles tortured me with and I managed to free myself from the bed.
I realized something weird. This room has no windows. It did have one door though. The only logical step is to open it. Is it safe? Could something
dangerous be behind that door? Is the loud noise that I was hearing all this time some kind of an attack? Danger? Natural disaster? Or maybe I'm just
imagining it? There is one way to find out. The door. As I opened the door with a little bit of struggling, the door let out a weird noise and scared me.
The moment I realized it was only the door that let out a cry because of its old age I continued. Behind the door there was a hallway with many doors.
They all seemed as old as the door I just used. This building is old. What am I doing in an old building? Why can't I remember anything? All of this is
so weird. I must continue. The doors were all locked. Is this some kind of a hotel? A house? If this is a house it must be really big. As I tried to open the
last door in the hallway I turned around. This place looks like something sucked all life out of it. So dead. Just when was the last time someone
walked down this hallway? Bang.
There was a loud noise. Everything around me was black. I couldn't feel anything but pain. Who am I? Where am I?
I tried to get up as soon as I could think but my body wouldn't let me. The sharp pain again. Again? I opened my eyes and saw a familiar sight.
A familiar room with no windows and one door. It was very strange. It looked so familiar and so alien at the same time. Why is it that I can remember
this room but I can't even remember who am I? Very weird. I felt a sharp pain in my right eye, it felt like someone took an knife and stabbed me in the
eye. Again. Again. Again. The pain stopped. I remembered That this room not only seems familiar, its the same room I woke up in before. But some details
didn't match. I could hear a loud noise that woke me up but that's it, I couldn't hear a single thing from the outside. It was extremely silent.
I kicked the wall and it made a dull noise that was not nearly as loud as expected. The wall was either made of some unknown material, someone is
playing around with sound or my very own mind is playing with me. Wait... Someone playing with sound? How? Where did I get that idea? At the same
time it sounds like something that anyone could do and something that is impossible. I must remember that thought. Thoughts like that don't just
pop up out of nowhere. I opened the door. The same thing was there, nothing changed, just a bunch of old useless doors. I started looking around
for something that I could "open" a locked door with. I found a weird shaped metal object. It was very heavy. I struggled to lift it and somehow hit one of
the doors with it. Bang.
There was a loud noise. Everything around me was black. I couldn't feel anything but pain. Who am I? Where am I?
