It had been four years. Jimin's twenty fourth birthday would be in one day.
She walked down the street, the cool evening breeze blowing through her hair.
The sunset illuminated the buildings with a warm glow.
She opened the gate and walked up the narrow, stone path. She saw two familiar figures standing at the grave.
His grandparents. They turned around when they saw her and hugged her.
"It's so good to see you again." His grandmother said.
"Yes, Its wonderful to see you guys."
"Four years already."
"It seems like yesterday..."
Next to his parents' graves read,
Park Jimin , 20 years old.

--------------------------------------------------------He was ill with an incurable disease since he was 12. His grandparents took care of him, and his parents had past away when he was just 6. She had met his grandparents, but didn't remember, and he talked to them about going to Europe to donate his one good lung. They had told him no, but he responded by telling them that the pain was too much, and his doctor told him he would have less than a year.
He went to Europe and they performed the surgery.
When she woke up, there was a small box on her bedside table and a note.
"Its me, Jimin. They couldn't find you a donor, and I have one very strong lung so I donated it to you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there all the time, and I hope that you live a wonderful life. Even in the short time we were together, I still loved you. Oh and don't worry about me! I had a disease before I met you, and I'm no longer in pain and I don't want you to be. I hope you might find a wonderful husband or someone who will give you all the love in the world! Thank you for being with me and easing my pain.

In the box was a wedding ring and a bracelet. Tears already rolled down her cheeks, and she let out an ugly sob. She put the ring on and held it to her heart. The unbearable pain took over. She could barely breathe through the sobs. She pulled the needle from her arm and stood up, walking into the hall. Down the hall, she vaguely remembered two faces. She leaned against the wall and covered her mouth with her hand. She slid to the ground and the people looked at her. Tears were also evident in their eyes.
His grandparents.
----------------------------------------------
She had never taken the ring off. She had never found another lover.
Every once in a while, she would forget a name or face.... But never his.
Thank you Park Jimin...
Thank you.
