He entered the room, and saw her sitting on the hospital bed, looking out of the window.
She turned around and looked at him.
"Who are you?"
"It's me, Jimin," he says, walking closer.
"I don't know you," she says.
"You and me went to the lights festival yesterday night. You don't remember?"
"No."
"You left for some reason," he says.
"I don't remember anything. I'm telling you," she says.
"Did I do something?"
"No... I seriously don't recognize you," she says. There was honesty in her words. She looked at him, then moved her gaze to he hands that were placed in her lap.
He stared ahead. Behind him, a nurse came in the room and he spun around.
"Why doesn't she remember me?"
The nurse looked surprised as she saw Jimin's pained expression.
"Uhm.. Sir, I don't know if you heard, but she has amnesia," the nurse says. She watched worriedly, waiting for a response.
Jimin looked down and felt tears coming.
"How can I help her?"
"Sir, the best you can do is be with her and try to make her remember," she says.
He looks down and contemplated.
"What's there to remember..."
