His safety

A wave of panic rushed through Jimin's veins. He wasn't planning to come to Yoongi's room but his father requested him to check up on the elder. If the orange head knew it would cause Yoongi such a trouble then he would have never appeared anywhere near his room.
"Aren't you from our school?" Hoseok asked stepping closer to the small boy. Jimin's gaze fell in everything in the room trying to thinking of an answer. When his eyes met Yoongi's he saw the anger reflection on them. Jimin quickly averted his eyes and began biting his lips.

"Yeah he is my step brother" Yoongi confirmed in hope no further questions will be asked but it only caused Hoseok's curiosity to rise. "Jimin, isn't it? You are the one who always hang around with that weird kid right? Yoongi hyung why didn't you tell me? Do anyone else know about this?" The brown haired boy bombarded the pair with questions. Jimin just stayed there not daring to utter a word under Yoongi's dark stare. "No. Nobody knows about this. And I would like to keep it that way" Yoongi warned Hoseok whose reply was a eye roll. "Duh I won't. But why keep it a secret?" Hoseok asked the question even Jimin wanted the answer to. But of course he never would have the courage to ask the elder. The orange head felt a pang of jealousy on the bottom of his heart because of how close Hoseok was with Yoongi. He didn't have to fear Yoongi, he can ask him anything and Yoongi is always smiling with him. But somewhere in Jimin's heart he still had hope, maybe if they started living together then Yoongi would open up.

"Because girls and boys will bully him. They will always compare us, our looks and qualities. They would say harsh things that will hurt him. And I don't want to hurt Jimin" Yoongi confessed making the left boys' eyes widen. Jimin felt hot and a small blush creeped on his cheeks. He was in fear that the others would be able to hear how hard and fast his heart was beating. He never excepted the older to reply something like that. This showed he cares, he already opened up, even a little.

"Hyung you don't have to worry. Nothing will happen to me. You don't have to hide it. I will be fine" Jimin assured Yoongi with a smile. He still couldn't believe his crush cared about him. "No. As a big brother I am in charge of you. I don't want any harm to you, mentally or physically. Hoseok don't tell anyone about this discussion" Yoongi said sternly. Hoseok flashed a smile after hearing that. He never thought his friend could care about someone. During 5 years of their friendship Hoseok saw how the blonde played with hearts and jumped from one girl to another without looking back. But to see the same boy now demanding the safety of his brother was a good sign.

"Don't worry. This horse won't tell another soul about this" Hoseok promised locking his lips with his fingers. Yoongi finally showed his beautiful gummy smile which never failed to make Jimin warm. "I have to go. You guys head out too. It's almost time, Tata" Hoseok bid his goodbye and left the brothers alone.

Jimin tensed up when the atmosphere of the room suddenly changed. Before he could thank Yoongi the older was already heading towards the door. The orange head decided to call him but it was as if there was a odd connection. Because Yoongi turned around to say something.

"Everything I said was a lie. I made an excuse to shut Hoseok up. Don't get me wrong. I don't want anyone to know about us because you are an embarrassment. I hope this is the last time you mess up." With that Yoongi exited the room leaving behind a shocked Jimin.

If it was possible Jimin heard his heart break into pieces. The elder's words repeated in his mind like an awful memory. His whole body froze as tears ran down his cheeks. The wall between them didn't vanish.

I was wrong.
