Winter. This was the only time of the year _(y/n)_would really get moving and ready. Sure, she didn't really have to do this, but she cared so much she didn't care whether it would be appreciated or not. Winter had its pros and cons, she thought, she even wrote down a list out of mere boredom.
_(y/n)_was walking down a street in town, eager to find a shop that wasn't closed yet. She was feeling pretty bad about herself; she had neglected to do this from the beginning, but everyone knows just how lazy _(y/n)_can be when it comes to important things. Her _(h/c)_hair smacked her in the face multiple times, forcing her to wrap it up in a messy bun. She didn't care if her ears fell off due to the cold; she just wanted to be able to see without a _(h/c)_ lock poking her in the eye.
Finally, she come across a small shop with a glowing 'OPEN' sign hanging from the window. _(y/n)_grinned wide and made her way inside. Upon feeling the glorious heat she had wanted for so long, _(y/n)_sighed happily and stood in front of the door way for Lord knows how long.
"_(y/n)_?" a voice called out to her, bringing _(y/n)_back to Earth.
"H-Huh?" She frantically looked around, her eyes falling on the voice. "Oh...it's just you, Armin." _(y/n)_smiled.
Armin smiled back, "Hello. I didn't expect you to be here."
"Same to you."
"Well, I'm helping around for a bit. Y'know, gotta get that extra cash for New Years." Armin laughed, walking back behind the register. "What can I do for you?"
"Erm...I need to buy a gift." she said.
"For who?"
"For Levi."
"You still haven't gotten him something?" Armin asked, sweatdropping a bit.
"I'm sorry! I was just so busy-"
"Doing nothing." _(y/n)_blushed. "Well...there's really nothing you can buy for him here. Unless you want to give him a scented candle."
"Aw man..." _(y/n)_sighed sadly. "I'll never find anything in time for our gift exchange!"
"Why don't you just make him something, _(y/n)_?" Armin asked, using a washcloth to clean up the desk a bit.
"Make him something...? But I'm not good at anything!" Armin sighed, smiling a bit.

_(y/n)_walked out of the store, a worried expression on her face. This was their first gift exchange and she had blown it already. Still, she thought, to make something for him could save everything. But never in her life had she made anything for anyone, not even for her parents; _(y/n)_didn't think of herself as creative or crafty.
"What the hell would I make anyways..?" she murmured to herself. "Ah...I'm screwed..."
_(y/n)_walked up the steps to her apartment, fishing out the keys to her door. "I'm home.." she called out, opening the door. "Ahh!!"
"Stop screaming, _(y/n)_. You'll wake up your neighbors."
"H-How the fuck did you even get in here?! I never gave you a key! You weren't supposed to come over until 7!!" _(y/n)_shouted, pointing her index finger at the "intruder".
Levi sighed deeply, "I know that you have an extra key under the mat, dumbass."
"What? You got security cams around the area now? How did you know that?" _(y/n)_stood up, still pointing her finger at him.
Levi just stared at her. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist, pulling her close into his chest. "Is it bad that I wanted to see you so badly..?"
_(y/n)_blushed slightly and struggled in his grip. "Uh, in this case, yes, yes it's bad." She pulled away and quickly ran to her room.
"Huh? Why?" Levi questioned, following behind her.
"Uhm, b-because, I...haven't taken a shower yet! So you need to leave so I can take one!" She lied.
"We showered together this morning. You should remember; you weren't drunk."
"Erm, I meant to say that...I...look terrible without an ugly sweater on! I mean, c'mon! It's Christmas soo..."
"You don't own any."
"Fuck..."
"_(y/n)_, just tell me the truth. What could be so bad that you had to lie? And terrible lies at that..." Levi murmured.
"I- Uhm- It's just- I..." she sighed. "I forgot...to get you a gift and I was out all day trying to find a last minute gift, and-"
"Idiot." Levi walked over to her. "You shouldv'e went shopping yesterday; it would've been a more productive day."
"Wh-What..?" _(y/n)_looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
Levi sighed and pulled her into a hug. "You didn't even need to get me something..."
"Because...I'm all you need..?" _(y/n)_replied, a small smile on her face.
"No, because I forgot to buy something too."
