CHAPTER 8
I was anxious the whole period.
I kept on looking at Jess, trying to give her my best puppy look.
But she would always look away...
When the bell rang, she hurriedly went out of the class room...
I followed her.
"Jess! Please wait for me!" I was shocked when she stopped and lean on the wall.
It was her gesture when she waits for me...
Shocking?!
We walked together but she was silent.
I tried to talk to her not only once but like 10 times already but she is still silent.
God! She really knows how to make me feel guilty.
We silently sat on the cafeteria table without talking.
Damn! I really hate it! I feel like I was all alone.
While I was sulking, I saw Zander looking at me from a distance.
I looked away, not wanting to see his taunting gaze.
This is your fault!
I shouted in my mind.
I heard a chuckle from behind me.
I quickly looked behind but I saw no one.
Illusion?!
Don't think I have the time to think about it.
After lunch Jess left me without a single word.
I sighed and slowly walk toward my locker.
"hey!" I heard Zander's voice.
I ignored him, since I was mad.
"hey, is there a problem?" he asked with a worry voice.
"yes, there is a problem. A big problem!" I cant help but shout at him.
His eyes widen in shock.
"what did I do?" he was certainly unaware of the reason why im mad.
"its better if you don't know." I deeply sigh.
"why? Is the problem Jess?" he ask
My eyes were shocked when I looked at him.
He chuckled.
"I guess now I know." He said quietly
"how did you know?" I was still shock at his guess...if it was a guess.
"I saw the two of you in the cafeteria, you two are not talking to each other." Then he smiled"...is it because of me?"
"the nerve Mister!" I was surprise and pissed at the same time when I saw the smile on his lips. It was kind of mocking me.
"well, I kinda know that she has a major crush on me." He said as he gave me a quiet laugh.
He knows?!
He knows?!
OMG!!!
Well I guess I cant try to hide that.
