Chase & Chances

A/N Hi guys I hop you had a very merry christmas if you celebrate it and a happy new year. Anyways I understand that not everybody likes clothing descriptions so I just wanted to say feel free to skip over the descriptions.  IMPORTANT: so for about 3 to 4 chapters it will skip time periods because I want to capture Harry and Belle's life milestones while they are apart seeing as this shapes the story.  Because of this a lot  chapters will only have one P.O.V. Okay enjoy the chapter. Oh and high five for new banner. and as always Belle's outfit is in the external link.

Belle P.O.V.

 It was weird to be back in my own Los Angeles home. It was weird seeing my pool from my bedroom.  everything was  so foreign.  Seeing that I woke up early due to jet lag I walked over to my desk that was surrounded by bookshelves that hung on the wall.  As I sat down I saw a book that was closed on top of my laptop. One Direction: Dare To Dream, was the title. I didn't actually know why the book was in my room but, I didn't care. I decided naturally I should read Harry's part since we were friends, or dating or whatever.

I got to read for ten more minutes until I had to get ready for gymnastics.  It was weird getting ready for gymnastics seeing that it wasn't something I had done for a while now,  The fist thing I did was I got out my pink sports tape, so that I can wrap up anything I needed to.  I then put in my pink water bottle that said gymnast on it, I actually hated the bottle seeing that I have had t since I was ten and it's from Justice. I also put in my beloved grips. After I had put everything in my bag I found the nearest leo and gym shorts. The Leo was black with a green stripe that was bedazzled and the gym shorts were black with a beaded, silver waistband.  I also put on a blue Nike hoodie and some palm tree sandals.

"Belle get down here we need to be on time for carpool," My mom yelled up to my room.

"Coming,"  I yelled.

I picked at my breakfast seeing that it was not exactly time to eat in England and that was the timezone my body was currently on.  The breakfast was good though it was vanilla youghurt with fruits and stuff.

"Aright, get in the car we need to pick up Chase and Piper for carpool,"  My mom said once I had put my yoghurt bowl in the dishwasher.

"Alright, "  I said.

 I got into the back of my mom's silver SUV and put in my earbuds, the song that came on was Seen It All by Jake Bugg, it was one of my favourtie songs.  Not long after I had put my earbuds in we had stopped in front of Chase and Piper's house.  Chase and Piper were brother and sister and they were also both elite gymnasts which was crazy, but they're both awesome.

"Hey long time no see," Piper said as she slings her arm around me once she was buckled in.

"Hey,"  I said pausing my music and taking my earbuds out of my ears.

"Hey Belle,"  Chase said once he was in the car.

"Hey Chase, "  I said smiling, I had always liked Chase he was a good kid.

"Hey umm Belle I was umm wondering if you would like to go to like dinner with me tonight?"  Chase asked me as his cheeks turned crimson.

"Like a date?"  I asked him.

"Uhh Yeah,"  He said while looking down.

"She can't,"  Piper cut in.

"Why,"  he said in an annoyed voice as he turned to his sister. well this is awkward.

"Because a pop-star who, may I just say is a total hottie asked her to not date anybody until she turned eighteen,"  Piper said in a proud voice.

"Is she being serious?" Chase asked as he turned to me.

"Uhh yeah it was umm Harry Styles from umm One Direction, y'know the guy who was rumoured to be dating me," I said nervously.

"Oh well I hope you're very happy together," Chase said bitterly as he turned away. the rest of the ride was in silence.

I stared at it as it loomed over me, big and strong. I was scared but I couldn't stay afraid of the bars forever, even if they did cause me to tear my ACL. Well technically it was the floor that did it but whatever.

"Are you ready,"  My coach, Gretchen, asked me in her soothing voice.

"I think I mean yeah,"  I said.

"Go for it,"  She said.

It took about five seconds to gather the courage but finally I put on my grips and chalked up. I walked up to the bars and started my routine.  It was an intense routine for just getting back but Gretchen thought I could handle it.  To be honest it was amazing being on the bars again the giants made me feel so powerful and when I did my release moves it was just amazing.  When I did my dismount, a double twisting double layout I felt amazing. 

"So how was it?" Gretchen asked me.

"Exhilerating,"  I said smiling like a Cheshire cat.  Harry's from Cheshire.  His smile is so hot but also so warming and sweet at the same time it reminded me of the beach or a warm winters night or-

"Belle did you here what I said?"  Gretchen asked interrupting my thoughts about Harry.

"Oh umm no sorry I was just thinking,"  I said.

"Well I said that it wasn't bad like you thought,"  She said.

"Oh yeah it wasn't"  I said while taking my grips off.

"Okay good so go to floor with the other elites to work on dance and conditioning and then come to my office I need to talk to you about something,"  She told me.

"Okay,"  I said as I ran over to the other girls on floor.

I honestly hated dance and conditioning.  I hated dance because I suck at it and I hate conditioning because let's be honest who actually likes condition I mean it's good for us but it's not fun.  It was interesting though that i actually enjoyed doing the push-ups and sit-ups and turns, leaps,and jumps.  Well I didn't like what I had to do per say but I liked thinking about Harry and his Harry-ness and because of that before I knew it I had to go across the gym to Gretchens office.

"Hi Belle,"  Grethcen said once I was seated in her office.

"Hi what did you want to talk to me about,"  I asked her.

"Well you have an amazing chance, you see I was contacted yesterday by one of the writers of Inside Gymnastics magazine and they asked me if you wanted to do an interview with them,"  She told me and I nearly jumped out of my seat.

"I would love too,"  I said smiling and bobbing by head up and down.

"Good I'll set up a time then," She said and all I could think was I can't wait to tell Piper.
