Belle P.O.V,

Seventeen, I am now seventeen, which means I'm only a year away from being able to date Harry and that is the only present I need. I mean other presents would be nice but being able to date Harry in only 365 days was amazing.

"Happy birthday to you,happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Belle, happy birthday to you," my mom, dad, and sister said while walking into my room.

"Thanks guys," I said while sitting up in my bed.

"Get ready and then come downstairs because I made a special breakfast for my seventeen year old," my mom said while my family left my room in a line.

I turned on my phone to see that I had two new texts; one from Piper and one from Harry. I of course opened Harry's first.

From: Harry <3 <3 <3

Hey Happy 17th bday. its ur last year as a minor!

I didn't even know how to respond to that, so I decided to answer him later and open Piper's text.

From: Piper

Hey guurrrll 2day is a girls day wear something nice we will hang with sophie (flew down from Oregon and) and Ashley ( She Flew Form South Dakota bc she rlly wanted to meet u so b nice) also wear a dress.

Now I wasn't very happy that I had to spend time with Ashley, but I loved Sophie and I needed someone t help me text Harry so I texted Piper that I would go and she just needed to pick me up at 10:30. I then went to head downstairs.

"I made pancakes and there are fruit and bagels so eat up," my mom said as I got downstairs.

"Thanks," I said as I put some fruit a plain bagel and one pancake on my plate. This breakfast was honestly delicious like the best I've had in a while.

"Hey Chlo I need one of your dresses because I'm doing this thing today," I said to my sister as I turned towards her chair.

"I didn't know you guys were the same size," my mom cut in.

"Yes I am the same size as a twelve year old do we really need to bring that up?" I asked.

"We do actually because it's hilarious, and yes because it's your birthday you can borrow a dress," Chloe said.

"Thanks," I said getting up from my seat.

I went up to my sister's room to look for the perfect dress. My sister has more dresses than anyone I know so you would think that it would be easy to find a dress but actually it was quite hard; most of her dresses were to young for me, but Luckily I found one that was perfect. It was a dark blue dress with a pleated skirt and a white peter pan collar. I took it off the hanger and took it into my room where I paired it with my black converse, pearl earrings, and a bag that had my favourite band,the Arctic Monkeys, logo on it, I also put on red lipstick, mascara, and eyeliner. The last and most meaningful thing I put on was the amazing Tiffany bracelet that Harry gave me.

The smell of the ocean wafted from the Malibu beach up to the surf shack called Jerry's where my friends and I were eating.

"So Belle how does it feel to be seventeen,"Sophie asked.

"Well ummm good I guess," I said.

"Well y'know what Belle being seventeen means?" Piper asked.

"What?" We all asked interested.

"Next year Belle can finally do the dirty with Harry," Piper said with a devilish grin on her face.

"Or not," Ashley said looking at her phone.

"What do you mean,"I asked. Without getting a reply she handed me her phone which had an article from the Daily Mail.

'Harry Styles Seen With Old Flame Tori Hughes'

Our favourite curly haired singer was seen with his old girlfriend yesterday. Harry and Tori were seen enjoying a lunch at Jon Flemings French Bistro. While Harry was adorned in his usual white shirt, skinny jeans, and bandana; Tori was wearing an outfit that left little to the imagination. After their lunch Tori drove Harry back to his house where they had a proper snogging. I think it's safe to say that these lovebirds are definitely back together.[]

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, Harry had promised that he wouldn't date anybody until I turned eighteen; and on my seventeenth birthday he got a girlfriend. It was like a slap in the face.

"Can we see the article," Piper said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah," I said handing Piper and Sophie the phone.

"Oh wow umm I don't know what to say, I'm so sorry Belle," Sophie said, while handing Ashley her phone.

"Yeah he would have been such a good time,"Piper said.

"Really Piper, a boy just broke Belle's heart on her birthday and all you can think about is sex,"Ashley said, while shaking her head.

"Guys, guys relax. It coud be nothing, I think you should just text him and see what's wrong."  Sophie said.

"You're right I should just text him," I said while pulling out my phone.

To:Harry <3 <3 <3

Hi I saw that u were hanging out with ur old girlfriend and I was wondering if u were dating.

I'm sorry but this number has been changed.

"It says his number has ben changed, why was his number changed!" I yelled.

"He probably doesn't have the balls to own up to the fact he broke his promise, so he changed his number," Piper said.

"Umm should we go see a movie now,"Sophie said, trying to change the subject. I just couldn't understand why Harry would break the promise, I tought he was into me.

"We could see battle of the year," Ashley said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah, I really want to see that movie," I said.

"Well let's go then."

"Best.Movie.Ever," I yelled once we got out of the theatre.

"I know right." Ashley said.

"I bet it took your mind off of Harry," Piper said.

"It did until you brought him up," I snapped. This has been the worst birthday ever. I hope tomorrow everything will be sorted. Tomorrow! I have my interview with Inside Gymnastics. So I bet tomorrow will be better.

"Guys tomorrow I have an interview with Inside Gymnastics," I told my friends as we got into the car.

"Well I hope it goes well," Ashley said.

"For my sanity, I hope it goes well too
