My body was suddenly thrown to the left, and I was fully awake. Panic flooded my body I frantically looked around to figure out what was going on. I look to my right to find a very large area of the ship bulging in towards me. I look to the captain to see him frantically pushing buttons and talking to himself, but I couldn't hear what he was saying.
"What is going on?" I asked in the calmest, non-terror-filled tone that I could.
He didn't look at me: he didn't even flinch. It's like he didn't even hear me.
"What's going on!?" I yelled, demanding an answer.
Again, he did not look at me, or even seem to have heard me.
Just as I went to ask him again, he got up from his seat, walked over to a small circular door, and opened it. He proceeded to climb in feet first, once all but one arm was in he looked at me and said,
"I'm sorry." He reached up for the door handle and pulled it shut.
The sound of an engine starting filled my ears. Then suddenly the ship pulled down and to the left slightly. Looking out the front window, I saw a small shuttle fly from beneath the ship and speed off into space.
A sinking feeling came over me as I realized he had left me here to die. Tears filled my eyes and escaped down my cheeks, my lips began to quiver, my throat felt tight, and I began to hyperventilate. My body now jerking with every breath, I let out small screams and voiced breaths. It felt like there was an elephant sitting on top of my chest.
Suddenly, inches away from my face, stomach and legs, three long sharply pointed spears punctured through the ship on either side of me. I screamed like a twelve year old girl. I quickly reached for my helmet and I frantically tightened the helmet into place just before the vacuum suction of space was released into the ship.
The spears began to retreat but stopped half of the way out, they then turned inward and slammed against the inside of the ship. Quickly and fearfully I unfastened all of my seat belts and ran for the other side of the ship, which wasn't very far, but it was still farther away from those spears. Suddenly the ship was being pulled to the right. The ship made a very loud and spine chilling scream and the wall ripped open. Frozen in terror, I stood pressed against the remaining wall. Staring out of the hole in the ship I could see the retracting spears letting go of the debris and folding back into another ship.
Shaped in the form of a triangle, it looked flat but had a slight rise in height half of the way in. Its various shades of blues, purples, and black filled in the sophisticated yet elegant white outline that covered the ship.
It began to move towards my ship slowly but stopped almost as soon as it started. A compartment to the left of the bottom of the ship opened and released a large arm that connected to a hand. The arm made its way to me, plucking me from within my ship, pulling me through space, to its ship. A long platform connecting to the ship extended out and the arm dropped me onto it, retreating back to its place under the ship.
The platform began pulling itself into the ship. As I got closer to the ship a bright light spilled through as a door opened to let me in.
Looking around I saw that I was in a hallway. There were navy blue doors to both the left and right of me, about ten feet across from each other, and I was sitting in between them. Looking forward I saw another door, but this one is a darker shade of green.
I stood up and started to walk towards the dark green door, curiosity flooding my mind. I opened the door and walked into more bright light. Allowing my eyes to adjust, I stood still as the door quietly shut behind me.
Rubbing my eyes as they finished adjusting to the light, I looked around trying to figure out where I was. Looking forward I could see silver bars lining the edges of the ground about seven feet away from me. Walking toward them I realized that it was a railing to keep me from falling off the edge. Holding on to the bars, I looked down to see that I was about ten stories high and there were more railed floors like the one I was standing on. I looked up, only to see the dark abyss of space surrounding me, the ceiling was made of glass, forming a dome around the top.
"What in the---" I started to speak, but suddenly there was a sharp stabbing feeling jolting throughout my body as I fell to my left, blacking out completely.
