Sasuke looked up at the night sky, admiring the twinkling stars.

Not too long ago he had been sitting there with Itachi, his elder brother, pointing out the stars, trying to find certain constellations. It had been his favorite thing to do, and he cherished those moments with his brother.

Everything had changed when Itachi had left to join the army, leaving Sasuke to stare at the stars, alone.

No one knew where Sasuke would run off to at night as he wouldn't tell anyone about Itachi and his special place; it was there little secret.

Sasuke picked up a tomato from his small basket, biting into it, looking up at the stars. He could point out the little dipper, and the big dipper, now, thanks to Itachi.

A little smile spread across his face as it reminded him of his elder brother and himself. If only he would have snuck his mother's little camera to take a picture of the stars, and send it to his elder brother.

Maybe next time.

Sasuke looked around at the forest surrounding him, not even a little afraid. He had grown up living in the wild, practically, as him and his brother often camped in the woods.

Sasuke had learned there was nothing to fear since the woods had no predators that could cause him harm, and making him feel safer. It was as if he was king of the jungle, and no one could challenge him.

So when he saw a bush move and rustle, he thought a little bunny was probably playing around. Of course, as the animal got closer and more exposed, he realized it was far from a bunny. He almost spat out his tomato at the sight of a bright, blond haired boy popping up from the bush.

"Hello!" His voice was obnoxiously loud.

Sasuke dropped his tomato, unable to come up with a response, completely shocked by the presence of the boy.

The biggest reason he wasn't afraid of the woods was due to the fact it was owned by his family, meaning it was private property, seeing as a child no older than him, and he was 6, was able to get in ,amazed him.

"W-Who are you?" Sasuke asked, his voice small, trying to show dominance.

Unlike his older brother, he lacked the quality of being authoritative. He took after his mother and was more kind and compassionate than ruthless and dominant.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, believe it!" He giggled.

Sasuke cocked his head at the blond, unable to think of a reason a kid would be on private property.

"Well, you shouldn't be here Naruto. This is private property" Sasuke said as he closed his eyes and turned away.

He could hear a low giggle from the blond, causing him to open his eyes and see what was so funny. Naruto continued to laugh as if he was told the funniest joke in the world.

"You're really funny Sasuke" He laughed

Sasuke never said his name.
