So every year my school has an "8th Grade Student of the Year." So we have these announcements that come on before the bell rings for us to leave hell, I mean school.
So when they were giving announcements today, they just started naming off all of the finalists.
First of all, NONE OF US EVEN KNEW WE WERE NOMINATED!!!!!
So she's reading off the names, and she says Rose. And I'm like, "Good job Rose. See that's my best friend right there." (Btw this was IN MY HEAD)
My thoughts were then interrupted by her sayING MY NAME!!!!!
My first reaction was "WHAT. THE. FUCK."
My second reaction was to look at Rose then start mouthing 'wtf' over and over again.
I was very surprised and I still am.
The best part?????
Josh was sleeping and when he heard his name he sat up and was like "what? Huh? Did I miss something"
