Love In The Air

Anirudh's POV

Boyfriend?! How could she?! How can?! She never told us?! Is she lying to me?! I still.. I still couldn't register into my mind.
My mind struggled to think. I glimpsed at her for an explanation. She looked puzzled.

"Hey buddy. I'm Sham, her boyfriend. So, what's your name buddy?" He addressed himself  by forwarding his hand to me. Did I ask about him? Un saavu en kaile da. But I couldn't let my voice out as it would be rude. But avan saavu en kaiyile.

"Myself Anirudh. Nice to meet you. " I forwarded my hand to reply for the handshake. It was an awkward situation between three of us. I looked at her, she glimpsed at him and he smiled at me. I started the conversation but it went worst.

"So, Sham your boyfriend? " I tried to be cool. She faced me.
"Um, ya, nope" she rambled foolishly. Before that, she glanced at Sham for an explanation and he winked at her. What's going on? I stood there like an idiot not understanding anything.

And she started to speak. "I'm really really sorry ani. He's my boyfriend. We have been in relationship for past 3 years. Please don't tell this to our squad as they will hate me forever for hiding this matter. I'm believing you ani." She finished her sentences by killing my inner soul.

I trusted her. All she did was breaking my trust on her. But I can't curse her for this. I'm being a gentleman shouldn't do this at all. I don't want her to think I'm a immature human being. I planned to talk but my mouthpiece dried. I felt stupid for myself for not proposing her at first. I stood there blankly.

"Um, what's going on?" I asked them as I felt useless standing in front of them. None of them were opening their mouth. I rolled my eyes and was about to turn, Tasha hold my wrist, avoiding me to go.  On that second, electric current passed through my whole body and I felt energized out of sudden.  I turned around to see her her cute face. I fell for her again.

"Ani, don't get angry. It was a prank. He's Sham, my best friend since childhood. I met him yesterday at my workplace and I came to know that's he's my buju." She completed by winking at him. Oh Tasha, don't do that infront of my eyes. It's disgusting you know. I kept quiet for awhile but..

"Whose bu-ju now?"  I questioned them feeling abit confused.
"Oh, hahahha, Sham is buju and buju is Sham" she laughed. I fell for her again and again. She's too beautiful. She continued again. "I'm going out with Sham today night for a dinner as I couldn't spend my time yesterday. And ya. He is fetching me today so no need troubles for you ani." She pattered my shoulder. I faked a smile to her. Knowing that, she asked me whether I'm okay or not. God damn, she knew me alot. But why can't she find out that I love her alot? My inner soul kept on asking me questions.

"Ya, ya. I'm perfectly alright. See you tomo. Be safe Tasha. And ya, Sham catch you later buddy. " I moved from there feeling a bit grateful as Tasha and Sham are bestfriends. "Macha, Tash varale? " Iyappan asked while getting  inside of my car.

"Illlllaaadaaaaaa machiiiii" I playfully smacked him. He fell down and I laughed continuously following other behind me. We laughed heavily. "You could answer me rather than smacking me down. Carry me now. " He ordered angrily but he was cute enough for me to pinch his cheeks. He rolled his eyes still sitting down on the floor.

I forwarded my hand for a help. He got up and dusted his hands and pants. He tried to push me down but I was strong enough to stand straight. But unfortunately, he carried me. "Macha dei. Kile erukku" I begged him but he ignored me. We both laughed till our tears fell down. In one part, he dump me down and I pulled his T-shirt and he fell on me. We both were playing childishly infront of our college not bothering about others. Who will? We are the seniors for god's sake.

"Um,guys? What are you doing? " Suddenly a voice. A female voice and I knew it's Tasha's mouthpiece. "Nah nothing Tasha. We are doing exercise. Exercise is good for health you know! "  I got up quickly and entered my car. She came there to take her things from my car. Okay I have to say that it was an awkward situation for sure. She took her things and bit a goodbye to us and went with Sham. I saw her getting into the car.

Holaaaaa guyssss...... okay I'm back with this story. I saw many comments saying not to delete and continue with my story. So, yes, I'm gonna continue with this story and update regularly. So, back to the story. Tasha and the new character, Sham are bestfriends. Oops sorry ppl for cheating in the previous chap. 😜 What will happen then? Will Sham be the villain of the story? Because our Rockstar hates Sham. Need to know? Haha, I'll post the next chap later.
