One Saturday Night

Saturday 10:00am

Craig Tucker woke up from his bed and pulled himself up slowly. He looked out his window from his bed and saw the bright light. It stung his eyes making him squint a bit.
He sighed and got up from his bed and walked out his room going down stairs where he saw his little sister watching TV. "Hey Craig." she said blankly as he just groaned and went into the kitchen to find something to eat.

There was a box of cereal on the table when he picked it up there was some stuff still inside so he poured some in a bowl and went to grab the milk and when he poured it.

Chunks fell out.

He looked at it in disgust as he picked up the bowl and dumped it along with the milk. He then looked into the fridge for anything else but everything else he saw he had to cook which he was terrible at.

Next thing he thought was to look into the freezer and bingo! He found some toaster strudels. Excitment filled the dull teen as he put them into the toaster and waited for them to pop up and thats when his mom walked in.

"Hello sweetie." she said going over to him and kissing him on the cheek. "Hey mom." He spoke in his signature monotone voice.
"What are you going to do today?" she asked filling her a cup of coffee. He just shrugged as his small meal popped up. He started to put the frosting on it then took a big bite out of one of them. "We need more milk." he said going over to the kitchen table.

"Yeah I see. I'll go get more after work. Well I'm off, I'll be home at 6 be good and take care of your sister." she said walking over to him and ruffled his raven locks before leaving the kitchen and going out the door.
And thats when Ruby walked in.

"So... When are you going to do it?" She asked going to rinse her glass out.
"Going to ask what?" He pressed her narrowing his cold eyes at her.

"You know ask Tweek out." Craig looked at her caught off guard he looked down at the table and blushed slightly.
"Everyone knows you like him just ask him out already." she said putting her glass away and then leaned her back on the sink.

"I don't have to ask him out now, we can always go out some other time." He said crossing his arms.

"Your free now on a Saturday. Nothing to do. No one to hang out with. I would but Im going to a party later."

"What party..?" he asked. "It's something Red's throwing its gonna be lit." Ruby said throwing her arms up. "Why wasn't I invited." Ruby sighed. "You were idiot but you turned it down because you were going to 'plan' to ask Tweek out." She said making small air quotations then pushed her self off the sink and started to walk out the kitchen. "And you better hurry before he finds someone else. Tweek is a cute guy you know." she teased as she made her way to the living room to finish her show.

Craig had a lot to think about what Ruby said and decided to just go on and go through with it.
