"Where am I", I whisper. I slowly open my eyes and blinding rays of sunlight hit me. I sit up lazily, wondering where I am. And then I panic. Lying beside me was him. Shirtless. I quickly scan my body to make sure all my clothes are accounted for. "Thank god", I mumble. I look down at him, wanting to tear off that stupid red blanket that was blocking his defined abs. It took all my might not to rip off that annoying thing.

All caught up in my thoughts, a familiar voice erupts.

"Mornin' beautiful", he says in a weary morning voice.

I stare at his face in disbelief and shock. He was sprawled out on his back, lying on the bed with a look of fatigue in his eyes. His brown hair messily dropping down into his eyes, he gave me a heart-stopping smirk as he pulled me close into his heavy chest. The strong, yet delightful smell of AXE wiffed into my nostrils. He let out a small laugh as he took a deep breath as if he was about to tell me something very important.

"I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, Skylar".

I lift my head up and rest my chin on his chest. My hazel eyes stare into his deep green eyes. I feel a blush forming on my already rosy cheeks.

Not knowing what to say, I rest my head back down.

"Cat got your tongue, babe?".

I couldn't see it, but I felt a sly smirk spread across his lips. That word...babe... just kind of made my heart flutter with joy.

"No", I reply shyly.

"She's alive!", he says with a deep laugh.

I sit up, not amused with his sarcasm. He sits up with me, and all of a sudden he leans in.

Inches away, his hot breath teasing my lips, he stops.

"May I...?", he asks with a raspy but cute morning voice.

I pause for a moment.

"You may", I smile.

He leans back, restarting his kiss. He cuffs his hand around my cheek, as goosebumps run down my spine. Leaning in closer than ever, his warm breath making me feel warm and safe, he yet again stops.

Our eyes meet, mine with a look of confusion and his with such compassion, as he smirks his famous "heart-stopping smirk", and our eyes close. Our lips millimetres away, my heart drops, as I wake up to the painfully annoying sound of my alarm clock.
