Au where the underwater kiss never happened but the seven are still friends.
Third person POV

"Ok guys we've got to come up with a plan." Leo said, slapping his hands down on the end of the table as if he were a powerful CEO at a business meeting. The seven (minus Percy and Annabeth, of course) were sitting around a long table in the big house trying to figure out one thing: how to finally get percabeth together.

"Honestly, it's gone too far," Frank said, leaning back in his chair "everyone can tell that they're completely head-over-heels for each other."

"Yeah we know that, our problem is just getting them to admit it to each other." Jason commented back.

"Does anyone have any ideas?" Leo exclaimed "how about you, beauty-queen, isn't this you're department?"

Piper leaned forward, putting her elbows on the table, "I'm at a loss, I feel like we've tried everything, from locking them in a closet, to putting them in a life-threatening situation; nothing seems to work." She sounded exasperated.

"We could try to make one of them jealous, maybe if someone asks one of them out or something, they'll figure out how they feel finally, or I don't know." Hazel piped up.

"You might actually be on to something there, but it'll probably take more than that." Leo said, starting to get up and pace around the room.

Frank sat up "I've got it! We'll get some guy to go up to Percy and ask if Annabeth's single or something, it'll make sense because they're best friends anyway. Then, he'll throw in something derogatory. Percy, being over protective as he is, will definitely react."

"That's perfect!" Piper said, sounding interested "and it'll have to be somewhere that Annabeth would see, during a meal or something. Also there's a new Aphrodite guy her age who'll probably do whatever I say." Jason raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, I'll charm speak him to, but what's the difference?"

~lunch, sometime in the future~

Piper had pulled aside the new Aphrodite boy -Ian- and was going over the plan with him. He was tall with deep brown hair that had too much product in it, and had the look of a jock who dated a new girl every month. "So all you do is ask Percy if Annabeth is single and talk about how hot she is" Piper said. Ian nodded with his eyes slightly glazed over. Piper gave him a slight shove in the direction of the Poseidon table where Percy was currently enjoying his lunch.

"Hey Perce!" Ian called out, "you're friends with that Annabeth chick, right, y'know the one with the smokin bod?" Percy nodded warily, his fist clenching around his cup, "yeah, why"

"Is she single? I want to ask her out."

"Well yeah, I mean I guess she is, but I don't think you're really her type." Percy said, with a cautious tone to his voice.

"Well that doesn't really matter, now does it" Ian said with a smirk, "I mean when Aphrodite is your parent..." he trailed off.

Annabeth walked over with an oblivious smile on her face, "Hey Seaweed Brain, we're still on for sparring later, right?"

Percy's eyes were still trained on Ian "Um yeah... of course."

Ian butted in "hey babe did you you just sit in sugar, 'cause you've got a sweet ass?" Annabeth stared at him with a slightly bewildered but taken back expression, but before she could say anything, Percy did "WHAT did you just say."

Ian continued, barely sparing a glance "That's a nice shirt, can I talk you out of it?"

Percy had lost it, and seeing this, Piper rushed over and pulled Annabeth away. Percy had stood up, at least a good inch taller than Ian and grabbed that top of his shirt.

"You DARE talk to her again and you'll wish you'd never been born" Percy snarls. Ian scurries away, suddenly regretting as to why he was there in the first place.
