* Orion and Walburga Black died of some unknown reason in March 1979, and no one cared for them enough to investigate their cause of death. Sirius became the Lord of the Black Family, since the Black family line provides the power of the family head only to the eldest (or, the only surviving) Male member of the said family.
* Sirius and Remus were married on September 19, 1983, and hyphenated their surnames to Lupin-Black. They are living in the Cypress Cottage in Falmouth, West Country, Great Britain.
* Harry and Hermione Potter faced the Dark Lord on 31 October, 1985 instead of 31 October, 1981.
