"Why is that?" Annabelle asked, as she strutted over to a desk. "I need to do something. And I'll need the dice." Leon replied. "How do I know you won't trick us?" "You don't. You'll have to trust me." The two of them stared at each other, as if they were fighting mentally. "Fine." Annabelle sighed. "I'll send you back in time."
Leon walked over to the machine that had originally scarred him. "I hate this thing. But I'll have to love it for now." Leon joked. "Quiet down." Annabelle said as Leon sat in the machine. "I need to pull out the DNA cross-reference." WHANG. WHANG. WHANG. Leon jerked upwards, and saw an alarm blaring. "Take the helmet, and the wires, now!" Annabelle screamed as she jabbed a USB drive into the computer, and began to download a software. Leon stood up and grabbed the helmet and all the wires he saw, and jammed them into his bag. Annabelle tossed the USB drive to Leon, and he pocketed the drive. Annabelle ran through the door and Leon followed.
They appeared in the middle of New York. We need a vehicle. "I have one. It was my uncles." Annabelle said as she pulled out car keys. Annabelle clicked a button, and then Leon saw the car. It was a vintage vehicle, a Ferrari Spyder 2017. Leon whistled in approval. "Nice. I'll drive." "Where would we go?" Annabelle asked as she got in the passenger seat. Leon jumped into the driver's seat. "I know a place."
It had a few hours of driving, and Annabelle asking if they were there yet, but they got there. "You act younger than you actually are." Leon told Annabelle. "It suits my nature." Annabelle replied. Leon parked in the middle of the road. He got out of the car, and Annabelle followed. "Where are we?" Annabelle asked, looking around. Leon pulled out a key of his own, and placed it in the air, and the key vanished, teleporting Leon and Annabelle.
Annabelle looked around in shock. "How did you get this technology?" Annabelle asked. "Assassin Academy. I made a student loan when I was a student." Leon pulled out the helmet from his bag. "Now." He began. "Start to assemble the machine."
After a few hours, Annabelle yelled. "It's done!" Leon pulled out his cigarette, and threw it out. Leon walked over. "You shouldn't smoke." She said, sighing. "It's a habit. It's also the source of all my knowledge." Leon replied. She rolled her eyes. Leon sat down on a chair, and put on the helmet. "Activating memory sequences...DNA cross mix...Time Travelling now!"
Leon opened his eyes to see he was on a hill. "Where the hell am I?" Leon muttered. "I don't know either." Leon looked around shocked. "Who was that!?" Leon yelled. "It's me. Annabelle. I'm in your head." "Okay." Leon looked around. "So where am I?" "A buffer zone. You'll be sent to Austria... during the Second World War, was it?" "Yeah. I'll just wait here for now." Then Leon saw it off in the distance. A Snow Leopard.
It was huge for a cub, at least twice the length of a normal snow leopard cub, and twice as bulky. It eyes were just as white as its fur, arctic white. Then their eyes met. Leon felt an instant connection to the leopard, and suddenly the leopard appeared beside Leon, and purred against his side. "I like the leopard. I'm keeping it." "No, you can't." "I will, or I destroy the dice." "Fine! Keep the Leopard."
A flash of light. Leon was gone.Leon appeared in the middle of a ship war, on one of the ships. He saw the cub, looking curious. "The cub came with you? That should be impossible...Oh, I get it! It's a glitch in space-time. It'll stay with you." "That's cool. Also, by the way, it's a he, and his name is Alpha." Leon went to look at the cub, and he wasn't there. Leon looked around, and saw Alpha on the other ship. "Oh gods." Leon sighed and began to sprint, and snuck past them all, and reached the edge of the ship. He backed up a bit, and began to run and the he jumped. He was about halfway through the gap when a bullet struck him in the back, and lost momentum. And he fell in the rapid moving currents.
"Shit!" Leon yelled as the current pushed him around. "Gotta...get...lucky!" Leon concentrated and his eyes went green. The water suddenly pushed him upwards, and he landed on the other boat. His eyes turned back to normal. Then the Redcoats attacked.
Leon pulled out his gun and shot them all in rapid succession. He didn't have time to fool around. He went to the cub and petted him. Don't worry Alpha, I'm here." Than the light took them away."Sorry. Working with time is hard." Annabelle said to Leon as he walked through Industrial London, with Alpha sitting on his shoulder. "That leopard is going to be the end of you." "It's a cub. I'm his adopted father in a sense." "No. You're really not." "Yes, I am." Leon walked into a bar, Alpha jumping down from his shoulder, and smelling everything he could get his nose on. "I need one glass of bitter, and some in a bowl." The bartender nodded, and gave Leon the bitter. Leon set the bowl on the ground. Alpha ran over to the bowl and began to drink. Than Leon chugged his bitter down. "Leopards can't drink alcohol." "My leopard. My rules."
Leon walked outside, Alpha following, a bit clumsy. Leon sighed, and picked Alpha up, and placed him in his bag. "It-He'll suffocate." "He's a glitch, remember?" "I hate it when you use my logic." "What else do I need to know? Unicorns are actually green?" "You're an idiot." "I know I am. It's part of my natural charm." Leon kept walking, seeing people staring at him, although Leon was used to it. "Actually, there is something you need to know about your family."
"Actually, something about our family."P
