"CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Pt.2 (end)"
It's been two days. Many people drew eager, seeing as Christmas is right around the corner. Despite this, Kazuto drew more and more restless. why you might ask? Well if you could provide a gift to your girlfriend when needed, what kind of boyfriend would you be? Kazuto replayed this sentence over and over in his mind. But for some reason, no matter what he tried, he couldn't quite find that 'just right' Christmas present that her knew Asuna would love.
-
"Aww man..." Mumbled the troubled boy, "Chrismas is tomorrow....". Kazuto stood outside on the porch of his humble home. He was still puzzled on what to get her, and every time he thought of a present, his mind drew a blank. "Maybe a little rest should help.". As Kazuto drew tired, he shuffled over to his futon and blanket. he laid himself out, stretching and flailing a little to get into his comfort zone. With out another sound, Kazuto drifted of into a sound sleep.
-
When he awoke again, it was no longer Christmas Eve. Now, Christmas Day had befallen Kazuto. He still had nothing to give Asuna. With a feeling of panic, the still drowsy boy jerked himself awake. Realizing what had happened, his hope had dropped even further. "What am I gonna do now!" Shouted the frustrated Kazuto. But inside, he knew what he must do. Without a doubt, he knew.
-
When he arrived at the Christmas party, he was greeted by many of his friends. Liz, Silica, Klein you name it. he put on a look of joy, so that him being sad wouldn't affect them. he wouldn't want to ruin someone else's Christmas with his troubles, especially if they're a close friend. After several introductions, Kazuto transported himself to the back room of Egil's bar. That's when he saw her. Seated on a dusty crate, was the lovely Asuna. she looked slightly cold. With enough courage, the saddened boy walked over to Asuna. She seemed pleasantly surprised.
-
"Ah Kirito-kun! I've been waiting for you" exclaimed Asuna, who shivered slightly.
-
Kazuto have her a confused look, then a sad one. He had forgotten how frail Asuna could be, so she must have came to the back room to keep warm. "Listen... Asuna. I... I didn't bring you a present.".
-
Asuna didn't seem fazed at all. Instead, she shot him a rather joyful look. "Actually, I think you did." Responded the smiling Asuna. Kazuto shot back a confused look. Asuna's smile was a bright and kind one, Kazuto enjoyed it very much. But what had he done to deserve it? He didn't have a present for her...
-
"What do you mean?"
-
With an abrupt motion, Asune waved her hand as if to look up.
-
Kazuto slowly creaked his head up, and was nearly astonished at what he saw. A mistletoe. Soon after, her heard something whispered into his ear.
-
"Merry Christmas Kirito-kun."
-
When he looked back down, Asuna's face was right up against his. Without another moment, Asuna pressed her lips onto his. Kazuto could feel himself blushing all over. Without further resistance, Kazuto began to kiss back. I guess he had brought her a present. The present had been the thing that beats and trumps all. He had brought her love.
