I am getting ready with my friend Raven. We have been friends for two years now, which means we have been friends since we were teenagers,
"Skylar I'm sooo nervous!" Raven says looking in the mirror with me,
"me too" I say putting my mascara on.    
I was wearing a Korn T-shirt with a skirt and pantyhose, and topping it off with high heels.   Raven was wearing black jeans with her favorite combat boots, and of course she wears a Korn shirt since we are going to see a Korn concert and to top it all off she put on a leather jacket.
"Skylar you're not going on a date you don't have to check your make up so many times" Raven says sitting on the edge of my bed.
I look in the mirror one last time before I nod saying I'm ready,"are you going to drive?" I say tossing her the keys, she looks at the keys, "yes let's go!".
  Raven runs to the car and opens the door fast, I get to the passenger side slamming my door hard on accident like I always do.
"well let's go to a Korn concert" she says looking at me, I nod and take a deep breath.
"Yeah...let's go" I say nervously, she starts driving on the road, she looks over at me just for a minute then starts playing Adidas, I laugh then start singing along with her. We looked like absolute fools The way we were headbanging well I was since it wasn't safe for her.
After 30 minutes we finally made it to the Theater, we got out of the car I was looking at the ground to make sure there was not grass, because grass plus heels equals disaster but luckily it was just concrete and I continued to walk with Raven. We went to the booth where we were supposed to deposit our tickets. We gave the guy at the booth our tickets and he let us in the theater showing us our seats.
We sat in our seats, which was the second row from the front row. I have been saving a lot of money to get us at least the second row so we can see Jonathan. Me and Raven talk for a bit while they are getting the stage ready
"So how's work?" Raven asks me
"It's great, I'm surprised I could get a job as a software developer" I say smiling, I mean it was a good job I got $81,000 a year so I could say I'm doing well with my life
"Ahh yeah I still work at that shit of a restaurant" she says looking at the stage then back at me.
I see Jonathan Davis come up on stage, everyone started cheering for him. I could see his hair turning gray and he's getting more wrinkles, I guess I never really noticed Jonathan aging. Even though he's old he's still doing this for the fans
"are you motherfuckers ready?!" He yells into the microphone and everyone starts cheering
"I said ARE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS READY!?" Hey yells again into the microphone, everyone starts cheering louder then cheers again as the song for blind starts playing, me and Raven start Headbanging like idiots and screaming.
The show finally ends, Jonathan looked very tired but he still had the microphone, he holds his hand up for everyone to be quiet but he only did that when it was very serious.
"What is he doing?" I ask Raven
"I don't know, I hope nothing is wrong" she says concerned
"Ok this was a great show...but as you all know....after this tour...Korn will be departed" Jonathan says a little out of breath.
Me and Raven look at each other shocked, we never knew that this was going to happen and we never even heard about it, some of the peoples faces in the crowd were shocked and the others remain normal for the ones who knew
"Thank you all for coming and making Korn a success, it was a good 28 years but I can barely handle it anymore I'm getting to old to even sing" Jonathan looks a little saddened at first but then looks back at the crowd with a smile.
"but my son Pirate has come here to show his new band, ladies and gentlemen Plasma Nightmare!" He says moving so the band has room.
Everyone starts cheering again, I see this man that looks about the same age as me with long brown hair going to the microphone.
"Let's do this!" He yells in the microphone and the guitar starts playing, I watch him head bang and hair fly everywhere while doing it, he was so gorgeous it was hard to believe that it was the kid I saw in the interview in 2016.
"puberty hit him hard" Raven whispered
"I agree" I whisper back
His voice was even gorgeous and I liked the song a lot.
The song had ended and it ended with people cheering for him, me and Raven get out of our seats to leave, we get outside along with the rest of the people. I am about to go near the car when someone taps my shoulder
"Hey, I'm Pirate" he said looking at me, I looked at his beautiful hair again
"Oh...hi..I'm Skylar" I tried not to stutter but I am so nervous around new people
"well nice to meet you Skylar" he says looking at me.
"I will wait in the car" Raven says going to the car, I look at her and nod.
"Your really pretty" he says to me, I start to blush but I don't want him to notice
"Thank you, you were awesome up there" I say trying not to make a fool out of myself
He laughs and moves his hair behind his ear.
"Thanks, I hope this doesn't come off as creepy but can I get your number?" He asks, I almost scream but I get a piece of paper out of my purse and write my number down.
"There" I say giving him the paper
"How about I talk to you tomorrow at eight?" He asks
"Sure sounds great" I say, I really did not know what to say to that, I mean of course I didn't think it was creepy but usually no one notices me especially a hot guy like that.
I go in the passengers side and Raven looks at me smiling
"Well well the rockstar noticed to you" she said still smiling at me
"Shut up" I said laughing
"i'm jealous you get a rockstar boyfriend and I don't" she said fake frowning
"hey don't say that, you could end up marrying Marilyn Manson and be his second wife" I say sarcastically
"Ewww no not that old fuck" she says making a disgusting face.
I laugh and she starts driving me back home
