I tried to push the feelings past me, I put on a new face for Ethan, his parents, and my mom but... how can I just forget about Gray? When he hugs me.. it's different.

But maybe it was fate telling me it wasn't right. I should go to the party, see friends again and take my mind off things. Just to have fun. My phone goes off, a text from my best friend. Her name is Julia, I call her Jay. Only I call her Jay.

Jay: Hey guess whattt

Me: whattt

Jay: I'm coming to the party tn8, I came back early

Me: Omg what! I'm so happy! I missed you sm! How was it :)

Jay: Great! I had so much fun. Can I come over?

Me: Definitely! We need get ready to party!

I'm going to tell have to tell her everything. I get changed into my dress I plan on wearing, it is a skin tight black body on dress, and I have black heels to match. Jay is going to curl my long blonde hair, and I am going to do my makeup then as well.

I greet Jay at the door and we go up to my room, she is wearing a blue dress with a black pattern on it. She has long strawberry blonde hair and mesmerizing blue eyes. "Damn girl you had a glo up since last time I was you." She said and I laughed. "Could say the same for you." I replied.

We started talking about what she did over the Summer, she went on a trip to Haiti. I was anxious to tell her about Ethan and Grayson. She knew them well, they were best friends but I barely knew them because I only went to school the last 3 months.

"Oh my god guess what I forgot to tell you!" Julia yelled which snapped me out of my thoughts. "What?" I asked. Julia started yelling, "Ethan got a girlfriend! Isn't that funny? Since when would he settle do-"

How does she already know?

"Jay.. I'm his girlfriend." I cut her off before she could get further. She stops and looks at me confused. "What? Since when?"

"Sit down.. I have a lot to say.."

Grayson

I check my phone 8:47pm. It sucked, the fact that she can't be mine. But what's worse is that Ethan gets her. I know he isn't even mad about the marriage, which pisses me off.

Even if I told my mom, nothing would change. She wants this so desperately and my dad is dying. He wants to see one of us get married. I'm going to the party, but not until I let the fact sink in that she isn't mine anymore.

Technically she never was, because I am a douchebag and wouldn't admit my feelings before. If we started dating this wouldn't have happened.

But she will still be mine, I'm sure of it.

Ethan

Tonight Heather and I have to go to the party as a couple. I never really expected we would date, even if it's forced. I am driving her and Julia. Julia and I are tight, we've been friends for a long time.
