It's All I Want

Chapter Three: Golden Laughs

Jake's POV

     I slept at Alexa's house again because I didn't want to drive to my house to sleep. Alexa's house was close to the golden side anyways. The next day, I woke up on the couch. I looked at the time and I screamed Alexa's name.

"ALEXA!"

    There was no answer she must've left to her first lecture. Lucky for me, my lecture didn't start till 9 am. I ate breakfast since there was only an hour left of staying at this house. I watched TV and then heard a knock at the door.

*Knock knock*

I opened the door and it was a dude with blue hair. Kind of emo looking hair.

"Hey, is Alexa home?"

"No, she went to her lecture. Who are you?"

"I'm Jackson. I think we've met before, Jake, right?"

"Yeah."

"Wait, why are you in her house? Are you guys a thing now?"

"No, we never even thought about that."

"Oh, just asking. Well, tell Alexa I stopped by."

"Ok?"

    He waved good bye and I shut the door. He was the drunk guy that wanted Alexa to kiss him because she was with me at the party. I was guessing he liked her or something because he would get jealous whenever I was around Alexa. I mean Alexa's cute and all, but I don't think I like her. I went back to the couch and watched TV. Thirty minutes passed and another knock hit the door

"It's Alexa let me in, hoe."

I ran to the door and opened it.

"How was the lecture?"

"It was good. Why didn't you leave to your lecture?"

"My first lecture doesn't start in another thirty minutes."

"Oh, mine is the same I have another lecture in thirty minutes too."

"Alright. Oh, by the way Jackson stopped by."

"What did he want?"

"I don't know he just told me to tell you he was here looking for you."

"Ah, I'll text him."

"Ok."

"Why are you still at my house, Jake?"

"Because my house is far away to drive to."

"You're not going to live here, but you can stay another night, ok?"

"Why are you being so nice?"

"Don't get used to it, rat. We need to go by the way."

"Oh, right. Let's go."

"You're driving."

"I thought so!"

   I drove the car to the lecture while Alexa texted Jackson. Alexa looked so mad and threw her phone inside one of the cup holders. I looked at her.

"What did he want?"

"Nothing he's just a dumb fuck."

"Why?"

"Look for yourself." She said, as she handed me her phone.

I read the messages and they were just fighting.

Alexa: What did you want?

Jackson: I wanted to talk to only you, but I guess that didn't happen because you're always with that Jake dude.
