Avery.
I looked at the man in confusion "why should I, I don't know who u are personally or where u come from" he rolled his eyes as he did so they changed colours they were black as night and he got up and walked out of the diner so I followed him he leads me to the back of the place "I am what they call a seeker when a new person of interest shows themself to our world one of us is sent to see who or what the being is for instance I'm what they call a conjurer" his eyes are still black and swords started materializing in mid air around him as they were done forming he drop is arms and they hit the ground he looked at me while I felt his command of power over the weapons "OK so u see what I can do what are u?" he asked me that question and I wasn't even sure what he meant "I'm not like u I'm human" he laughed at me as though I lied "u are not human when your power awakens they send a vibe to seekers near by I was the closest one to u now tell me what are u?" I looked at him with confusion there was no way I was like any of them [u aren't normal that's for sure for u to be able to call me forth mean u are special] listening to the voice I could tell he was amused at my reaction to that question.
Before I could answer one of the weapons in the ground flew at me "what the fuck why are u attacking me?" he just smiled [if he attacks for real I'll have to go on the defensive] I looked at him and nodded I may not know what I am but I'm sure as hell ain't gonna give up so easy after everything I've been through "listen I don't know what u want but please just leave us alone" he look at me with curiosity clear on his face and he attacked it was coming at me full power his weapons were beautiful they way they were shaped but now wasn't the time to admire them the darkness became visible like an extension of my body when I raised my hand knocking the weapon away from me and then I went on the offensive no realizing what I was doing I kept moving my arms and pointed it at him the dark ink like substance obeyed my arm movements and my mental commands successfully and wrap him up in it I watched as surprise painted his face "to think someone as new to this as u can keep me at bay" he started laughing "oh I also know what kind of power u have now or better put what u are" he gave up and I let him go we got back to the diner and sat at a table "I'm glad u didn't get hurt and I'm sorry for attacking and what's your name" he put his hand out and I shook it "I'm Avery like wise" he nodded and ordered us some food "I'm from a school that has very special children they are called the marked we have abilities that we are born with they have called us by different names over the centuries but as of now we don't really exist we are a very well kept secret we are part of the human government and other parts of the law so when one of our kind comes into their powers we find them and bring them to the school" I nodded "u are part of the dark clan of the marked which is very rare we haven't had a dark one in 10 years not since well u will find out soon enough so let's go we have a long ways to go before u get to the school" I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to this place I haven't been around people in schools for years was I ready for this? [come on I'll be with u no one is ever hurting u again] I smiled at his words we started walking out of the diner but he stopped at the door "oh God why now" he looked back at me with worry on his face "we have a little problem some of our kind seek to destroy the peace we have with the world so they are coming here to convince u to join them they don't know I'm here yet us seekers are very good at hiding our presence so this may get ugly really quickly so just stand back" his eyes went black again "come obey me blades of anialation" the swords that appeared were different all black and beautiful symbols in them he placed his hands in front him and they when off flying through the striking a invisible things when they hit the ground the became visible all dressed in black with white masks on "these are the shadow legion very nasty group of people" we started walking again when another one showed up he was different from the others he eminnated power "to think u almost got me to" he laughed while he watched us something about him called to me it crept into me and even the spirit felt it [stop letting him in he isn't after u he wants me] my body snapped out of it I was angry enraged my darkness started seeping out before I could stop it the darkness was coming in and I felt his rage he didn't like how it felt when someone tried to control me so he would obey "to think a youngling could resist me me" he laughed again just then I realized that the seeker had stop moving chanting a spell and the swords were in the ground in a circle around us "mavara en" and then shields come around us "oh very powerful a seekers shield" he walked up to it and started releasing darkness in to it as it was about to start to fall apart my voice changed and I started chanting my own spell "necros avadan leona cantartum duima en" over the crumbling seekers shield my shield came into existence "u think I want u touching him he is mine I will fuckin destroy u don't ever show your face to me again" he still found it funny and before he could try to destroy my shield the dark ink came back out to play when the man saw it he panicked "u aren't you're....." he looked at us he looked at me terrified and started turning into a bird and flew away "are u OK" I asked Devan he nodded "what just happened your voice it wasn't your own" I didn't believe it he couldn't see him standing next to me "u can't see him?" he shook his head "oh well when I was saved he showed up and offered me a way out at the time I didn't care as long as I lived" he nodded we started walking down the side walk to a very peculiar try it was huge a oak tree It looked like it had a door in it "listen once u step through this door u won't be able to come back to this world without an adult until u leave the school do u understand?" I nodded it was black when he opened the door a very dark hallway he stepped in and motioned for me to follow I looked back at the human world and I didn't feel anything no sadness or regret I think I was making the right choice I loved the place I use to live before the man took me but after that all I've been subjected to was pain, humiliation, sorrow and the nothingness of hopelessness if it wasn't for my power awakening when it did I would be dead and long forgotten so I walked through hoping that on the other side life would get better for me.
When we came out the other end it was beautiful the colors vibrant and vivid we came out on a road "why didn't we go right to the city from the portal?" he smiled and looked at me "it is restricted to open portals in the city don't worry we're not far from it though" I nodded and we started walking up the road it was so peaceful here as we got further up the road I noticed the top of a building so I ran the rest of the way when I got to the top it was breath taking everything was beautiful the buildings the city itself was a work of art made out of glass flawlessly made into a city "wow that's just so l..." before the word could leave my tongue Devan spoke "it's home" I nodded and smile he was right it felt like I had finally found where I belonged.
There was a car waiting for us at the top of the hill we got in and Devan spoke to the man driving the car telling him where to first "so we are heading to the bank and get u set up so we can get your stuff for school then we can head over to the school it's very simple since u are one of us either one or both your parents are marked ones so they have to have money here so let's go" I nodded and we were off.
Once we got to the bank the people asked me my name so they could find it in there system "Avery Knox" the woman heard my last name and froze "the Knox family" she shook with either fear or excitement "right this way Mr Knox" I followed her into the back she showed me to a vault "u just place your hand on it and the vault that belongs to your family will come to u" I nodded and followed instructions the vault door changed colors showing and emblem on it with 2 dragons the full moon in the center and them looking at it the whole door was black but the moon was while and the dragons gray once it was done forming it opened "within this vault lays 3 billion worth of gold 7 billion in precious stones and 2 billion worth of properties across the kingdom u are the last living member of the Knox family" I was in shock at how rich I just became. We got this thing u place on your racist it's like a debit card I just let them scan it and the money is transferred out of my account it was very cool I had a black card on my hand.
We got to the first set of stores to get books and bedding all the stuff needed for my dorm room and stuff like that once we got everything it was time to head over to the school "OK let's go we're heading to a special portal there are a few around the city that go directly to the school when we get there your instructer will teach u how to use them OK" I nodded and we were off we got to at the center of the city it was beautiful the buildings, trees and even the fountains all perfect in every way once we got to the portal Devan placed his hand on a control and it turned on "OK just like before step through" I did what he said and we stepped out the other side into a square it was flawless 4 other smaller portals where around it all in white with intricate markings on then in green all running around them leading to the main portal once we got out I realized that the whole structure was floating on water with a path leading to the school I was in awe of the school it was modern yet vintage everything was clean and made in perfect shapes once we got to the front he stopped so I did to "OK u will be meeting the headmistress and a few of your teacher today u are different from there students so they have to come make sure that u are able to come through the barriers here so let's get it over with" I nodded and we walker through the gates and everything went wrong.
