I woke up with the annoying beeping that came from my alarm clock. I was confused at first, was it really monday already? I groaned at the thought of going to school in an hour, and i got out of bed. I put the shower on so the water could heat up and i picked out some clothes. I decided on wearing my black trousers and grey jumper with 'varsity' written on it in purple, my favorite clothing-combo. I hopped in the shower under the warm water and started to wet my hair. I washed it with shampoo and rinsed it after i was done. I put some grapefruit-scented shower gel on my body and rinsed it of as well. I got out of the shower and did my hair and make-up. After putting my clothes on, i rushed downstairs and grabbed some breakfast because otherwise I would be late for school. My dad was already at work, his shifts started early. I got out of the house and locked the door before beginning my way to school. It is not far from home so I always went on foot. When I arrived at school, things seemed different. I looked for my best friends in the halls and i immediately spotted them.
"Lennon! Fae!" The brown and the blonde turned their heads when they heard their names being called. They smiled when they saw me coming. I smiled back We have been best friends for 2 years, ever since our freshman year, we are juniors now.
"What's happening? Why is everyone acting so weird?" I asked.
I saw amusement in Lennons eyes.
"There's a new boy, Alice! The cutest thing I have ever laid my eyes on, really!"
"What's his name?" I was curious. I never had a boyfriend before, and whenever we met a new boy my 2 friends felt like they had to set us up, because they both had a lover. But this has led to terrible scenarios in the past.
"His name?" Fae chuckled.
"Romeo."
AN: pic of Alice on the side!
