"Romeo? Is that his real name?"
"Yes!" Lennon giggled. "As in Romeo and Juliet!"
"Who the hell would name their son Romeo? Isn't that just asking for him to get bullied?"
"To get bullied? Girl, you should see him! He looks like an angel..." Lennon seemed to dream away at the thought of this mysterious man. Is he really that handsome?
"Yes!" Fae and Lennon shouted in sync. Oops, I didn't mean to say that out loud.
"Come on, let's go check him out!"
I wish I had known back then what the consequence of that action would have been.

Just when the girl pulled me with them to go find Romeo, the bell rung. They groaned out of frustration and made me promise I would meet them at our table at lunch to continue the search. I said I would be there and I turned the other way to go to my classroom. Mondays always started with English, my favourite subject. I love writing stories and the teacher, Mr Chase, is a real sweetheart.
I entered the classroom and immediately spotted a boy. He was sitting in my seat. And he was breathtakingly beautiful. Could this be him? The famous Romeo my friends had been telling me about? It had to be him. I had never seen anyone who looked so angelic. So pure.
"Ah Alice!" Mr Chase came towards me. "I guess you already know, but we have a new boy in class. Romeo, can you come here for a minute?"
Romeo stood up from his chair and started walking to were we stood. I felt my cheeks heat up. Why? Why me, why now?
"Romeo, this is Alice. She is my best English student."
"Oh is she?" Romeo asked with a smirk on his face.
"N-no" I stammered "That's not true."
"Oh come on Alice, don't be shy! You will be Romeo's guide today, and for the whole week. Your schedules are the same except for PE and Maths."
I started to panic. Me? His guide? I couldn't do this! I'm such a klutz, he will think I'm just one of those stupid girls! I felt my breath get stuck in my throat. Oh no, no no no not again... I just realized what was happening, when everything went black.
